Hey there, everyone! I’m Penelope (a.k.a Blanket), a cuddly, energetic, and playful brown tabby gal with white tuxedo markings who is bursting with love! I adore snuggling with Foster Meowmy, especially when I can nap on her tummy while she’s binging on Netflix. I make sure that she knows that I want to be her best friend. But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I love to chase feathers, strings, wand toys as well as bat catnip mice and crinkle balls around the room like an expert soccer striker.
My brother Pumpkin and I were born to a feral momma under a porch, and we were rescued when we were about three weeks old after dogs attacked our siblings and our momma disappeared. Thank heavens a kind HOPE volunteer bottle-fed us until we could eat solid food on my own. Being constantly held and coddled before I was weaned from milk may be why I love snuggling with Foster Meowmy.
Pumpkin and I are very bonded. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle all day long, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now I’m ready to be best friends with my new forever family. Could that be you? Although we’re available separately, Pumpkin and I think it would be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. Penelope’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
