Hey there, everyone! I’m Gummy Bear, a sweet, easygoing, playful red mackerel tabby fella who is the most independent of my #sweet-tooth litter, which consists of Jelly Bean (my favorite identical twin brother), Cookie, and Waffles. We have a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re exhausted from our bursts of energy, we collapse in a kitten puddle. In our quieter moments, we like to lounge together in the cat tree or line up on the windowsill to bask in the sunshine and watch the wildlife outside.
We were born to a feral momma in a trailer park in Manvel but rescued by a Good Samaritan when we were about nine weeks old. Thank heavens Foster Meowmy volunteered to bring us to the safe haven of her home, where I also enjoy the company of her resident cats. When I first met Meowmy, I was on the timid side, but in no time I figured out that she was trustworthy, and now we enjoy warm companionship with each other.
Now I’m ready to bring my laid-back demeanor and kitten playfulness to my forever family. Could that be you? True confessions: Because of my initial timidity, I’d probably do best in a home without small children. Gummy Bear’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
