Hey there, everyone! I’m Kimchi, a sweet, handsome, friendly, and affectionate “bicolor” fella, which means that I’m mostly white with orange tabby on my head, tail, and “saddleback.” I love my foster family because they scratch my ears, chin, and cheeks as well as rub my belly upon my request. I love snuggling and sleeping with them in bed!
I showed up in the yard of a neighbor of Foster Meowmy as a tiny but brave unweaned orphaned kitten with no momma or siblings in sight. It scared me when the neighbor tried to catch me, so I always escaped her. I’d already decided that Foster Meowmy’s house looked much safer and friendlier to kitties, so I marched up to her front door and let her pick me up and carry me inside. Fortunately there was already a nursing momma cat who accepted me as another one of her kittens and taught me all the manners that my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around.
It wasn’t long before the arrival of Minu, another solo orphan kitten who’s exactly my age. Not only do we love to tease the adult resident cats, but we have a ball tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling until we’re exhausted and collapse in a kitten puddle.
Now I’m ready to bring my red-headed good looks and kitten friskiness to my new forever family. Could that be you? I may be a little shy at first, but if you give me time to feel comfy with all the new people and my new environment, it won’t be long at all before I warm up just like I did in my foster home. Although Minu and I are available separately, we think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. That way we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Kimchi’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
