Hey there, everyone! We’re Cheesecake and Beefcake, a bonded pair of black “smoke” fellas, which means that our fluffy solid-black fur has white roots. The result is a soft, mottled blending of black and gray that just invites Foster Meowmy to run her fingers through our fur as she pets us.
Beefcake says, “I’m a sweet, brave, and playful fella. Showing my trust in Foster Meowmy, I like to sleep with my belly and all four paws in the air, and I relish it when she gives me gentle belly rubs."
Cheesecake says, “I’m a sweet, gentle, quiet fella. I’m an absolute lap-cat who jumps in Foster Meowmy's lap the minute she gets home, and I luxuriate as she scratches my ears and cheeks. I may have the softest meow, but my purr motor roars with delight as I soak up all her affection.”
We were rescued as five-week-old kittens who were found with no momma in sight. We were living under the porch in an area where a massive colony of community cats had been trapped, neutered, and released (TNR’d). Foster Meowmy was dropping off the last spayed cat when she saw Cheesecake, sitting alone on a porch. Since he didn’t run away but let her pet him, she scooped him up and put him in her bathroom. Another trapper came by the same area later in the day and spotted Beefcake, picked him up, and brought him to join Cheesecake in Foster Meowmy’s bathroom.
Once inside, Beefcake taught Cheesecake how to be a spicy kitten by puffing up and looking very mean, but when Foster Meowmy swaddled us into purritos using hand towels and massaged our heads, we immediately handed in our feral cards and opted for the VIP life. We balance each other out in that brave and playful Beefcake coaxes Cheesecake out of his shell so we can tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle. Cheesecake’s more laid-back than Beefcake is, so Cheesecake teaches Beefcake how to cuddle with him while Foster Meowmy’s at work and with her at night.

Cheesecake and Beefcake’s $250 bonded-pair adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
