Hey there, everyone! I’m Dorito, an incredibly social, mellow, and stunningly handsome red Classic tabby fella with marble swirls on my sides. I earned my name from my rich dark orange coat and the triangle-shaped “Dorito” markings on either side of my body. I’m such a sweet boy who adores everyone I meet, including children. I thrive on affection and reward my foster family with loud, happy purrs whenever they love on me. At bedtime, I’m happiest curled up next to—or even on top of—Foster Meowmy, where I can soak in all her comfort and closeness. I’m also quite the conversationalist—I’m not shy about letting Foster Meowmy know when I want her attention, food, or companionship.
I showed up as a neglected and abused teenager at an apartment's community-cat feeding station which was often threatened by roaming dogs. Thankfully, Foster Meowmy rescued me and gave me a second chance at a better life. When she brought me to the safe haven of her home, I immediately assimilated peacefully with her two male resident cats, so I’d make a great addition to any multi-cat household.
Now that I’m all fit and buff, I’m ready to add charm and warmth to my forever family. Could that be you? Dorito’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
