DOB 2/14/25
Hey there, everyone! We’re Oats and Obi, a pair of sweet, gentle young brothers who are very bonded to each other. Oats says, “I’m a handsome cream tabby with white tuxedo markings.” Obi says, “I’m a stunning tuxedo with white mittens, half moustache, and vest.” Just look at our innocent, trusting eyes, which speak volumes of our loving dispositions.
Our foster dad rescued us from a community-cat feeding station as friendly but very shy six month-old stray kittens. After living paw-to-mouth at such a young age, we were relieved to abandon the hardscrabble life and come to the safe haven of his home. He worked in socializing us and, when we were a year old, let his friend adopt us together. Then through no fault of our own, we now need a new home because our adopter is moving out of town and can’t take us with him, and our foster dad has cancer, which precludes his taking us back.
Foster Dad is insisting that we stay together since we emotionally support each other. We had a rough start and need a soft landing with an experienced adopter who knows how to slowly and patiently coax shy kitties like us into warming up to them. We promise that as long as hoomans don’t move too quickly and force their affections on us before we’re ready, that we’ll come around beautifully. We’re like the proverbial butterfly, who flies away when someone tries to net him but then lands on their shoulder when allowed to come voluntarily.
We hope that our sad story has plucked your heartstrings and that you’re ready to offer us an enriched life together in your home. We anticipate a life of cozy laps, marathon petting sessions, and interactive playtimes with wand toys after we’re allowed time to settle in at our own pace. Arrange to meet us today! Our hearts have so much love to give – all we need is YOU!
