Hey there, everyone! I’m Onyx, a lively, playful Bombay mix fella kitten with a sleek black coat, big heart, and an even bigger purr. I love chasing string toys and showing off my playful side, but I’m just as happy cuddled in Foster Meowmy’s lap for a cozy nap once I’ve burned off some energy. At night, you’ll often find me curled up on top of her, contentedly fast asleep.
The #gemstone-trio, which includes my siblings, Jet and Sapphire, and me, were found at an apartment complex when we were just three weeks old. We were crying because our momma was nowhere in sight. Who knows whether she abandoned us or if she just couldn’t get back to us for some reason? Thankfully Foster Meowmy took us to the safe haven of her home, cared for us, and helped us to grow strong and healthy. The three of us enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling all day long – until we collapse in a kitten puddle when we’re exhausted.
I’m very comfortable around the two gentle young children, ages 4 and 7, in my foster home. I also absolutely adore the adult male resident cat. He not only plays with me but also he’s been serving as my surrogate uncle by teaching me all the important “cat manners” that Momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around.
Now I’m ready to bless my forever family with my big heart, innocent eyes, and roaring purr motor. Could that be you?
