Hey there, everyone! I’m Violet, a super sweet, very friendly, affectionate, and calm tuxedo gal whom Foster Meowmy calls “an absolute angel.” I’m a cuddle bunny who loves to be held and carried around on her shoulder – and you can’t say that about most cats. I’m in seventh heaven when Foster Meowmy gives me a head massage or scratches my cheeks, chin, and ears. I’m a chatty gal who would give a talkative Siamese a run for her money.
When I showed up as a friendly young stray/ abandoned pet at Foster Meowmy’s community-cat feeding station, I had a difficult time because the residents attacked me. They were selfishly trying to limit the size of their colony in order to prevent another hungry mouth from sharing their rations. Well, I got the last laugh because, when Foster Meowmy kept me inside to recover from my spay surgery, she discovered that I was too sweet – and non-aggressive -- to be returned to the outdoors.
I was delighted to kiss the hardscrabble life good-bye. No love lost there, for sure! And I fit in beautifully with the resident dog and other cats in my foster home. Although I haven’t been around kids, Foster Meowmy thinks I’d be great since I’m so easygoing and unflappable. Now I’m ready to bring my “angelic” disposition to deliver joy and happiness to my forever family. Could I be just the kitty whom you’ve been looking for? Violet’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
