CAN JUMP 3 FEET TO SNAG THE FEATHER WAND TOY

DOB 9/21/24

Hey there, everyone! Named after cautiously curious Velma Dinkley, the “brains” of the Mystery Group in Scooby Doo, I’m Velma, a gentle, quiet, shy, and cuddly brown tabby gal with a big heart and a chirping meow. I’m usually somewhat of a couch potato except when Foster Meowmy gets out the feather wand toy. That’s when I’m suddenly transformed into an energetic athlete, and you should see me jump up three feet in the air to snag it! I also can play a mean game of soccer with my jingle-bell ball. I do my share of chasing my sister Daphne until the roles reverse, and our tag game usually culminates in our napping together on the bed.

Foster Meowmy trapped my pregnant feral momma and brought her to the safe haven of Meowmy’s home, where Momma birthed my sister Daphne and me. Unfortunately Momma had ringworm, which she passed onto Velma and me, and it spread to all of the pets and hoomans in the whole house. Since it took months and months for everyone to get clear of the ringworm, Daphne and I got a late start getting ready to be adopted.

I’m considered a special-needs cat because I inherited a gum disease called stomatitis from my momma. Fortunately, it is not contagious, and Foster Meowmy treats it successfully by giving me a daily vitamin. The vet checks my gums twice a year for redness, and then I’m good to go.

Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Ideally, it will be quiet like I am, but I won’t mind if there is another cat or dog to join me in my playtime. Although we’re available separately, Daphne and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together as a legacy of Scooby Do’s Mystery Gang. That way we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! Let’s write a new chapter in our lives together!
