DOB 3/7/26
Hey there, everyone! I’m Rudy, a curious, adventurous, and cuddly red tabby fella with white tuxedo markings who got my name because, just like the famous underdog in the movie “Rudy,” I prove that your heart matters more than anything. When I was younger, I tended to follow my siblings' lead while I figured things out, but, with a little encouragement and love, my confidence has grown. These days, I'm a snuggly, purring little guy -- and I think you'll find it's impossible not to cheer me on! I'm always aiming for the top -- whether that's the highest perch on the cat tree to watch birds and squirrels or the perfect spot to launch an impressive pounce on my favorite toy. You could say I'm always ready to "go long" for my next adventure!
I love tumbling and pouncing, chasing and wrestling with my siblings. Once the game is over and I've gotten my zoomies out of my system, I might act like I don't want to cuddle with Foster Meowmy. But she doesn’t let me fool her! Once I'm in her arms or curled up in her lap, my purr motor gets going, and I'm perfectly content soaking up all the pets and affection that she can dish out!
My momma Harlow birthed my litter as a friendly stray in an apartment complex where the delinquent kids shot BB's at us, but you’d never know it by the way I love. You see, a Good Samaritan rescued us and arranged for us to find a safe haven in our Foster Meowmy’s home. My heart was understandably a little cautious at first, but all I’ve experienced in my foster home is love, joy, kindness, and patience. I even enjoy hanging out with my foster family's 4-year-old son.
Like the movie's Rudy, I have a big heart, quiet determination, and a way of winning people over. Now I’m ready to share all these fine qualities with my forever home. Arrange to meet me today! You won't need an entire stadium chanting, "**Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!**" -- but don't be surprised if you catch yourself doing it anyway every time I do something adorable . . . or just because you can't resist my cute face and orange-and-white toe beans! Although we’re available separately, my twin brother Rufus and I think it would be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. That way we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.
