THE PLAYFUL SPARK!

DOB 1/7/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Blaze, a happy, energetic, and curious red tabby gal with big amber eyes who believes that every day is just one big game! My playful antics always make Foster Meowmy smile – whether I’m chasing jingle-bell balls and catnip mice, exploring every nook and cranny of my world, or swiping at the feather wand toy that Foster Meowmy waves over my head. Of course my sister Ember and I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a cozy kitten puddle – until I’m ready for my next adventure.

Admittedly, I had a rough start to my short life. My fluffy momma Amber was a friendly stray, probably someone’s abandoned pet, who birthed Ember and me in the common area of Foster Meowmy’s condo complex. Momma Amber kept us safe under a car that hadn’t moved in a while. Thank heavens for Ring cameras because that’s how Foster Meowmy first spotted my little family. After she began feeding us, she was able eventually to bring us all to the safe haven of her home. Since genetically it’s so unusual for three red tabbies to be female, she gave us fire-themed names and started referring to us as the #Fuego Group. Whereas Ember and I are full of fiery kitten energy, Momma Amber reminds her of a calm, steady flame.

Understandably, after my grappling with the hardscrabble life from the moment I was born, I was initially shy when I arrived in my foster home at three months old. Foster Mom knew that it would take time and patience for me to learn to trust her. With her gentle voice and affectionate touch, she showed me that I was loved, and --voilà! -- I slowly began to open up. Actually Foster Meowmy was surprised at how trusting we all were when she bathed us, and we were certainly more comfortable when she treated us with meds so that our fleas and ear mites no longer bothered us!

Now I’m ready to light up the lives of everyone in my forever home. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise that we’ll fall head over paws in love with each other from the instant that we meet! Although we’re available separately, Ember and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. We could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.
