DOB 4/29/26
Hey there, everyone! Named for my bold black stripes and healthy appetite, I’m Caterpillar, an affectionate, cuddly, and playful brown mackerel tabby fella who will bowl you over with my big purr and my even bigger heart. I enjoy curling up next to Foster Meowmy for a nap on her lap or bed. I’m a master biscuit-maker and instantly purr to show my contentment when she starts to scratch my cheeks or gently stroke my back. I’m a curious boy who is intrigued with exploring every nook and cranny that I can find.
My feral momma birthed my siblings, Ladybug and Ant, and me in the patio closet of a vacant apartment where Foster Meowmy feeds a colony of community cats. When we were just five weeks old, she trapped Momma and brought our little family to the safe haven of her home. Once we were weaned and eating on our own, Momma was spayed and returned to her outdoor home. This ensures that she will never raise another litter in the summer heat. Meanwhile, I’ve had a blast indoors with Ladybug and Ant, a.k.a. the #kloset-kittens, as we tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and then collapse in a kitten puddle when we’re exhausted.
Understandably, after my grappling as a wee one with the hardscrabble outdoor life, I was initially shy when I arrived in my foster home. Foster Mom knew that it would take time and patience for me to learn to trust her. With her gentle voice and affectionate touch, she showed me that I was securely loved, and --voilà! -- I slowly began to open up. Now she endears herself by teasing me with string toys and rewarding me with Churus treats! I’ve been raised with young children (ages 5 and 7) and a small senior dog, and I’ve done well with everyone. The dog never bothered me at all!
Now I’m ready to share my loving disposition, playful spirit, and “purr-full” cuddling expertise with my forever family – including well-behaved dogs and kids. Just keep in mind that in my new domain I may need your gentle patience by allowing me to build my confidence at my own pace. Although we’re available separately, it’d be the cat’s meow if you’d adopt me with another #kloset-kitten so we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to double your joys and halve your sorrows!
