Hey there, everyone! I’m Penny, a sweet, gentle, initially shy brown tabby gal who just wants to love and be loved. I may not be the first cat to demand your attention because I take my time to get to know new people and places at my own pace. Once I feel safe, however, I become your loyal companion who will curl up beside you, follow you from room to room, and greet you with a happy purr. These are my ways of saying, “I love and trust you.”
When I was a tiny kitten, Foster Meowmy rescued my momma, my littermates, and me from the mean streets of Houston and brought all of us to the safe haven of her home. All of us kittens were adopted into loving homes, and my mama became a permanent member of Foster Meowmy’s family. I spent four years with a family who cared deeply for me, but over time, we realized that my quiet, gentle personality would be happier in a calmer, less chaotic home.
When I needed a fresh start, Foster Meowmy welcomed me back with open arms, reuniting me with my momma and helping me prepare for my next chapter. Foster Mom knew that it would take time and patience for me to adjust back in my foster home, but with her gentle voice and affectionate touch, she showed me that I was securely loved, and --voilà! –watching me blossom has been something truly special for her.
I’ve already had two families who loved me enough to put my happiness first. Now I’m looking for the one that will be forever. Penny’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
