LOVES TO BE PETTED!

DOB 3/14/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Arthur, a very sweet, cuddly, and gentle “bicolor” medium-haired fella, which means that I’m mostly white with large steel-gray patches on my head, saddleback, and tail. When I was about four months old, I wandered up to Foster Meowmy’s community cats' feeding station as an orphaned kitten with no momma or siblings in sight. Assuming that I’d refuse to socialize with hoomans, she trapped me and brought me to the safe haven of her home to recuperate from neuter surgery. Surprising, she found that I was friendly but timid, so Foster Mom knew that it would take time and patience for me to learn to trust her. With her gentle voice and affectionate touch, she showed me that I was securely loved, and --voila! -- now my sweet personality is shining through! As it ends up, I absolutely love to be petted, although it’s on my terms because I don’t like to be pursued and grasped to be "caught."

I assimilated nicely with my foster siblings as we tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a puddle. In my more solitary moments, I like to bask in a patch of sunlight on the window ledge for a toasty snooze. Now I’m ready to snuggle in the laps of my forever family as they scratch my ears and massage my head to my heart’s content. Hopefully they will be patient enough, like Foster Meowmy, to allow me to warm up to them at my own pace until I feel completely comfy. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!
