Hey there, everyone! I’m Dumpling, an affectionate, friendly, and playful Bombay mix fella with a pale, feathery “locket” at my neck and fluffy wisps of silver hairs on my legs. I tend to be the fearless, energetic, mischievous leader of my pack , a.k.a. the #Bellaire-quartet. A Good Samaritan called Foster Meowmy for help after she found my litter only one day after our feral momma, whom she’d been feeding, had birthed us. Foster Meowmy ended up trapping our nursing momma and bringing all of us, including Momma, to the safe haven of her home.
Momma doted on us and passed on good manners to all of us for six weeks, but, because she never “tamed up” to hoomans, Foster Meowmy got her spayed and released her to rejoin her cat mates at her old stomping grounds. Our hooman family had handled us from the beginning, and the three resident cats became our surrogate aunts and uncles, so, since we were weaned, we were not devastated to tell Momma goodbye – only happy that she is happy again.
Foster Meowmy describes me as “brave and relentless” because I have so much confidence and stamina. I’m curious, so when I find myself in a new environment, I sniff it out and then scamper off the play with my siblings. Sake, Tini, Tuna, and I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, collapse in a kitten puddle.
Now I’m ready to display my bravado and swagger to my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! Dumpling’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
