Hey there, everyone! I’m Dim Sum, an ultra-sweet, initiall shy, and affectionate brown tabby fella who happily purrs and makes biscuits while I cuddle in Foster Meowmy’s lap. Believe me -- I luxuriate as she scratches my chin, cheeks, and ears or dispenses Churus treats. I'm also a perfectly mannered bedfellow!
But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I love it when Foster Meowmy waves the feathered wand over my head so I can perform my slam-dunks that would rival any pro basketball player’s alley-oops. I’m curious and love to explore, so she has to watch open cabinet- and closet-doors lest I sneak inside for a peek.
My brother Dumpling and I were anonymously abandoned at PetSmart/ Pearland, but thankfully our foster meowmy volunteered to welcome us into her home. When we first arrived we were shy, so we exclusively played and snuggled with each over while we kept aloof from the rest of the resident kitties. With time, we started hanging out with the feline gang and now thoroughly enjoy playing with them. I’m admittedly still a little nervous around the resident dogs, however. Sitting atop the cat tree is my favorite spot when I need to get away from the noisy chaos below.
Now I’m ready to bring my sweet affection, biscuit-making, and athletic prowess to share with my forever family. Could that be you? Although we’re available separately, Dumpling and I are very bonded and “attached at the hip.” So we think it’d be the cat’s meow if you adopted us together. Dim Sum's $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
