Hey there, everyone! I’m Chai, and I’m a lot like the drink I’m named after -- sweet, warm, comforting -- with just enough chai spice to keep things interesting. I enjoy Foster Meowmy’s affectionate petting sessions, but I’m not exactly the type to demand attention 24/7. I’m more of a “let-me-hang-out-with-you-and-see-what-you’re-up-to-as-I-weave-through-your-legs” kind of guy. I’ll happily loaf nearby while you work or relax or go about your day -- yet I love to have fun, so I’m playful too.
I’m sweet, but I also have boundaries -- and I’m pretty good at letting you know when I’m not in the mood for something. That’s when my little “Chai spice” comes out. For example, I adore being petted, but I'm not a fan of being held. Respect my signals, and let me do things on my terms, and we’ll get along just fine.
I was rescued from the streets from an apartment complex where, unfortunately, tenants didn’t treat animals well and delinquent teenagers shot BB’s at strays. Despite that rough beginning, I’ve grown into a beautiful boy who knows how to appreciate the good things in life. Take one look at me, and you’ll see my gorgeous seal-point Siamese mix coloring. I’m handsome and definitely easy on the eyes. I’ve also been fostered around two young children and other cats, so I’m familiar with the energy and excitement that come with little humans, and I’m happy to have some feline company.
I’m looking for a forever home where someone will appreciate me for exactly who I am -- a gorgeous Siamese companion who will hang out beside you, play when I’m ready, loaf like a professional, and add just the right amount of Chai spice to your life. After all, life is better with a little Chai in it.

Chai’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
