Hey there, everyone! I’m Onyx, and I’m an outgoing, affectionate, and very energetic “bicolor” fella, which means that the bottom half of my body is white while the top part of it is black. Foster Meowmy’s vet found me as a 3-month-old kitten with no momma or siblings in sight, and he knew that I would have the best chance of getting socialized with people, other cats, and dogs if Meowmy could foster me in her home instead of caging me in his waiting room.
I am perfectly happy with this arrangement! I love to jump on the resident cat and then scamper away as I get chased, and I get along great with the resident small dog. I’m bursting with kitten energy, and when no furry critter wants to play with me, I entertain myself by batting around crinkle mice and jingle-bell balls. When I’m exhausted, I like to cuddle with Foster Meowmy or burrow under a blanket for a private nap.
Now I’m ready to deliver my kinetic energy to a household with other cats or dogs to play with me and a loving hooman to wave the feathered wand toy for me to swat. Could that be you? Onyx’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
