Although a DNA test would reveal my heritage, I look like the ancient breed of Carolina Dog because of my large, upright ears, “fishhook” tail, and foxy-looking snout. A Good Samaritan saw me and my buddy Bryan wandering for days in Spring Branch. She finally started feeding me until she could rescue and deliver me to my wonderful Foster Mom. I was so relieved to be in a safe haven because the hardscrabble life is no place for me. Foster Mom assumes that I was someone’s lost or abandoned pet because I’m great with kids as well as the resident cats and I’m already housetrained. With my engaging disposition, it's no surprise that I’m ecstatic when I see her!
