Hey there, everyone! I’m Mochi, a very affectionate, easygoing, and playful tuxedo fella who loves to be held and carried around, to snuggle on laps, and to soak up all the affection that can be poured out on me. But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I love to zoom around the house, chase crinkle balls, and swat at the wand toy. My favorite entertainment, the orange tower of balls, particularly intrigues me and keeps me endlessly busy. Nothing much ruffles my feathers, and I even allow Foster Meowmy to trim my claws without protesting.
When I was four months old, I showed up in Foster Meowmy’s yard as a friendly stray with no momma or siblings in sight. I was crying for attention as well as food. I was so outgoing and relaxed with people that Foster Meowmy assumed that I was someone’s lost pet. Sure enough, she finally located a lady in the neighborhood who admitted that I had belonged to her before she decided she didn’t want me anymore.
Yes, it hurt my feelings that my deadbeat owner threw me outside like trash, but I realized that I’d hit the jackpot when Foster Meowmy brought me inside to join her five resident cats. I’m very curious about my feline housemates, but unfortunately they ignore me when I try to start up a rousing game of chase. Once I heard one of them snarl “Whippersnapper!” I understand that I should respect my elders, but give me a break – As the reggae song goes, “We Just Gotta Have Fun!”
So now I’m ready to find a forever family who’ll shower me with attention, provide lots of enriching games and provocative toys for me, and jubilantly exult in my kitten friskiness. Could that be you? Perhaps you have a lonely cat who needs a playmate! Bring her on! I haven’t been around dogs, but I’m open to meeting them if they’re cat-friendly. Arrange to meet me today! I promise that we’ll fall head over paws in love with each other the instant we meet!

Mochi’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
