DOB 12/12/18
Beep! Beep! Move Over, Love Bug—There’s a New Herbie in Town! I’m Herbie, a big hunk of a cat with an even bigger heart! I’m friendly, low-maintenance, and always ready for my two favorite things: a good meal and plenty of scratches and rubs. I may take up extra room on the couch, but I’m a gentle cruiser who doesn’t need much fuss!
I get along with other cats and tend to take the easygoing route, even with more assertive feline housemates. I’m happy to keep the peace and enjoy their company. All I need is a cozy spot to park myself, a full food bowl, and a kind human to hang out with.
My road hasn’t always been smooth. I lived outdoors in an apartment complex where not everyone treated the neighborhood cats kindly. Still, I never gave up on people! I’d wait by the doorsteps, hoping someone would let me in, and continued greeting strangers with my friendly face and hopeful heart. Now I’m ready to leave those rough days in the rearview mirror and find a home where I can finally feel safe and loved.
Those rough days on the streets likely contributed to my FIV+ status, but that doesn’t stop me from being the big-hearted, affectionate guy you see today! With a caring home and regular veterinary care, I can enjoy a happy, comfortable life. I’m ready to find someone who’ll look past a little letter combination and see the sweet, gentle giant I am.
If you’re looking for a handsome, low-maintenance companion who’s happy just being near you, I might be your guy! Let’s put this Love Bug in drive and head toward our happily-ever-after. My engine runs on treats, cuddles, and kindness—and I’ve got plenty of love left in the tank!
