PERFORMS GYMNASTIC ALLEY-OOPS FOR THE WAND TOY

DOB 6/24/23

Hey there, everyone! I’m Achilles, a handsome, affectionate, and playful “bicolor” fella who’s mostly white with black on my face, saddleback, and tail. Don’t you like my distinguished moustache and goatee? I’m full of crazy antics and slick moves as I cavort with my catnip balls and mice like a soccer striker, and you have to witness for yourself my gymnastic “alley-oops” as I lunge for the toy on a wand.

My brothers Hercules, Perseus, and I showed up at Foster Meowmy’s front door as five-month-old orphans with no momma in sight. We’d made our way from the community cat feeding station near her apartment because everyone told us that she was a soft-hearted, generous cat lady. Sure enough, she started leaving yummy food out for us, and when the open door beckoned us one day, we marched in as if we knew that life had something better for us than being dumpster-divers.

Although I was initially shy, I soon warmed up once I realized that I could trust Foster Meowmy as well as the resident cats and dogs. Now I’m ready to become the snuggly karate kid of my new family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today, and I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

HOPE ID 24-0124-G018

Achilles' $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

DREAMILY LOOKS UP INTO YOUR EYES

DOB 8/7/22

Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alice, a sweet, curious, playful Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Everyone falls in love with me when my beautiful face stares up into their eyes. I love food, love to play, and love to investigate my surroundings.

I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where we enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other until we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m a happy girl whose life is a repeated cycle of play-sleep-eat.

Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors! Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog (I really bonded to him.) and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around.

I hope that I’ve piqued your interest and that you’ll arrange to meet me! My heart has so much love to give, all I need is YOU!

HOPE ID 22-1022-E022

Alice's $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

HER RELAXED DISPOSITION MAKES HER AN EASY CAT TO LOVE

DOB 6/18/23

Hey there, everyone! I’m Amber, a sweet, gentle, laid-back red tabby Maine Coon mix gal with enchanting green eyes and a fluffy plume for a tail. I let calmness and peace reign supreme as I keep Foster Meowmy company by lounging nearby as she works at her computer or watches TV. I’m not a lap cat per se because I don’t cling like Velcro to my hooman, but I am quite content to remain conveniently close by.

I was a friendly stray, probably someone’s abandoned pet, who birthed my red-tabby daughters, Blaze and Ember, in the common area of Foster Meowmy’s condo complex, and I kept them safe under a car that hadn’t moved in a while. Thank heavens for Ring cameras because that’s how Foster Meowmy first spotted me and my little family. After she began feeding us, she was able eventually to bring us all to the safe haven of her home. Since genetically it’s so unusual for 3 red tabbies to be female, she gave us fire-themed names and started referring to us as the Fuego Group. Whereas Blaze and Ember are full of fiery kitten energy, I remind her of a calm, steady flame.

Because my previous owner had obviously dumped me outside, I was initially rather shy. Once Foster Meowmy convinced me that she would not abandon me, it wasn’t long before my loving personality began to shine! Actually Foster Meowmy was surprised at how trusting we all were when she bathed us, and we were certainly more comfortable when she treated us with meds so that our fleas and ear mites no longer bothered us! Brimming food and water bowls, indoor climate control -- I could go on and on about how relieved I was to have kissed the hardscrabble life goodbye.

Now that I’ve permanently retired from motherhood, I’m ready to bring my calm, gentle heart to slowly fan the flames of peace and joy in my forever family. I recently heard Foster Meowmy tell a friend, “Amber’s laid-back nature makes her an easy cat to love!” Although I haven’t been around kids, dogs, or other resident cats in my foster home, Foster Meowmy expects that I would take meeting them in stride, as long as the proper protocol for introductions is followed. Arrange to meet me today! My relaxed temperament is just what you need to lower your blood pressure!

HOPE ID 26-0616-G111

Amber’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

LOVES TO HAVE HIS SPOTTED TUMMY TICKLED

DOB 2/26/26 (pretty cool birthdate!)

Hey there, everyone! I’m Andrew, an outgoing, affectionate, cuddly, and playful fella who’s just one of the identical brown tabbies in the #winsome-fivesome litter. I’m the easygoing one who likes to be hugged and to have my spotted tummy tickled. I’m also the huntsman of the group who keeps my fluffy green mouse in my mouth when I’m on my foraging expeditions. Just call me Jungle Boy because I'm always ready to rumble in the jungle. I’m also quite the soccer striker as I bat my balls around the house, and I’m like a pro hoopster when I “alley-oop” to score with the wand toy!

My momma was a friendly neighborhood stray whom Foster Meowmy lured into the house during the hard freeze in late January. Momma appreciated the brimming food and water bowls as well as warm blankets in her cozy little bed, so she made herself quite at home as she embraced the luxuries of indoor life. However, as Momma began “plumping up,” my foster pawrents realized that she was pregnant! Sure enough --- Joshua, Caleb, Mary, Martha, and I were born five weeks later! Since we were born in foster care, we love people because we've literally been around them all of our lives.

My siblings and I have a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. We also enjoy playing with the two previously adopted resident sisters who are five months older than we are. Now I’m ready to entertain you as I stalk my [toy] prey and eager for you to tickle the spots on my belly. Although I’m available separately as long as there’s another kitty in your home, it’d be the cat’s meow if you adopted me with one of my siblings. Two is more fun for you, and we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I promise that we’ll fall head over paws in love the minute we lay eyes on each other!

HOPE ID 26-0411-S006

Andrew’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

ALMOND-EYED BEAUTY

DOB 3/15/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m April, an affectionate, curious, and playful pastel-gray tabby gal with white mittens and vest as well as gorgeous almond eyes. I’m very friendly and sociable, so I seek out Foster Meowmy to cuddle with me and give me belly rubs. That said, I can occasionally have a flair for independence and mischief.

A Good Samaritan rescued me, along with my feral momma and my sister May, from an apartment complex where we were living paw-to-mouth. Realizing that May and I were friendly kittens, Foster Meowmy agreed to bring us into the safe haven of her home and help us find forever homes. I’ve been delighted that she’s introducing me to the amenities of indoor life, which includes Churus squeezable treats, catnip, and soft kitty beds! The hardscrabble life of a stray is for the birds!

Now I’m ready to bring my winsome congeniality, cozy cuddling, and playful kitten mischief to bless my forever home with joy and happiness. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

THE PERFECT LAP CAT

DOB 4/15/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Beetle, a gentle, affectionate, and cuddly mitted brown tabby gal who is the perfect lap cat. I love to snuggle and take naps with Foster Meowmy, and she especially endears herself to me when she scratches my chin as well as waves the wand toy over my head. I'm a typical high-energy kitten who loves tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with my sister Cricket. I even play well with the resident cats in my foster home. I can entertain myself quite nicely by batting cat spring toys and crinkle balls around the room as well as the ones in the tower of balls. I’m also a curious and adventuresome explorer throughout the house.

Cricket and I were born in foster care after Foster Meowmy rescued our momma Bug on the stormy night of Valentine’s Day. I guess you’d say that I’m spoiled because I’ve never been without plenty of attention and TLC from both my mommies, and this may explain why I’m so attached to Cricket. That’s why Foster Meowmy is insisting that we be adopted together so that we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Now I’m ready to become the official lap cat, cuddle champion, and energizer bunny in my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise that we’ll fall head over paws with each other the moment we meet!

HOPE ID 26-0701-A038

MELTS WHEN SHE'S AFFECTIONATELY TOUCHED

DOB 9/21/24

Hey there, everyone! I’m Bella, a petite, gentle, affectionate, and cuddly pastel grey tabby gal who adores curling up in Foster Meowmy’s lap where I can soak up as much affection as I can get. I just enjoy spending time with her, so if she’s busy, I discretely follow her around everywhere. I melt when she reaches over to acknowledge my quiet, undemanding presence by giving me a quick but loving head massage.

I showed up as a friendly stray whom Foster Meowmy’s started feeding. I was obviously someone’s lost or abandoned pet because I followed everyone around. I‘d purr, softly meow, and roll onto my back to invite bell rubs, and my little tricks succeeded in bewitching my foster pawrents into falling in love with me. It was clear that I was not street material and belonged inside, and I was so grateful when they finally invited me into the safe haven of their home.

I was a little scared when I first arrived because there were a lot of resident cats, and, after fending for myself outdoors, I was unsure about their friendliness. I was even shy with the hoomans until I felt safe, but I blossomed into a cuddle pillow once I warmed up to the family dynamics. I heard Foster Meowmy tell someone, “Bella is a people’s cat through and through and would make an amazing, loving companion for someone.”

Now I’m ready to become a lap cat extraordinaire who melts when I get attention in my forever home. Could that be you? If you’re looking for a little furry shadow to unobtrusively follow you around, I’m the gal for you! Just give me a little time to come out of my shell, and I promise to halve your sorrows and double your joys. Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages of adopting a young gal like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

HOPE ID 25-0927-A080

Bella’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

THE ONLY GIRL IN HER LITTER

DOB 3/21/26

Hey there, everyone! I am Bella, a very sweet, gentle, low-key light-brown tabby gal who just loves to wake up Foster Meowmy in bed every morning. As I grow up, I am overcoming my initial shyness and becoming a bolder, somewhat independent charmer. In my solitary moments, I like to hang out on the window sill so that I can watch kitty TV as the birds, squirrels, and lizards fly, scamper, and waddle by.

My stray momma birthed my four siblings and me in the Heights, where a nice HOPE volunteer rescued us when we were two weeks old and brought all of us, including Momma, to the safe haven of our foster home. I spend many of my waking hours tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with Marmalade, Pumpkin, Socks, and Sprint. When we are exhausted from out rowdy play, we collapse in a kitten puddle to recharge our batteries. I get along great with the resident cats and even though I am slightly intimidated by the two cat-friendly dogs, I do not run from them.

Now I’m ready to bring my sweet, gentle touch of ladylike charm to my forever home. Could that be yours? Although we are available separately, please consider adopting me along with one of the #Heights-quintet. Two is more fun than one, and we could be playmates and cuddle buddies when you are not home. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to be the belle of your ball!

TINIEST BUT KEEPS UP WITH HER BROTHERS

DOB 4/2/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Bella, a demure yet still rambunctious and playful brown tabby gal who’s the only girl and the smallest of the #tabby-IV-pack. I love hoomans – and Foster Meowmy most of all – but I’m a little shy and leery of strangers. My brother Leo is the leader of my litter, and Oliver, Peanut, and I depend on him to show us exciting things to do and new places where we can run throughout our foster home. I’m always eager to find out what new adventure Leo is trailblazing for us. Peanut and I have pretty much paired up naturally with each other because, of my three brothers, he’s the patient one who helps me overcome any hesitancy I may have to be daring or to meet new people.

Our semi-feral momma birthed Leo, Oliver, Peanut, and me on the porch of a kind lady who lived in an apartment complex. This Good Samaritan took good care of Momma and us until we could be weaned when we were five weeks old, and then Foster Meowmy brought all of us, including Momma, to the safe haven of her home. Momma was spayed and released back into her cat community, and we kits certainly appreciate our new carefree indoor life! We have plenty of open space to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we're exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I can entertain myself too by batting jingle-bell balls and catnip mice around the room,

I’m ready to bring my perfect balance of femininity and tomboy-ishness to sprinkle my forever home with love and laughter. Could that be yours? Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave paw prints all over your heart! Although we’re available separately, please consider adopting me with my bonded brother Peanut or another of the #tabby-IV-pack so we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation!

LOVES TO BE PICKED UP & CUDDLED

DOB 3/30/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Beth, a very affectionate, outgoing, and gentle silver/black tabby gal, and just between you and me, Foster Meowmy thinks I’m “perfect” because I like for her to pick me up and cuddle me. I guess you know that not many kitties LIKE to be picked up, but I surely do! But don’t worry -- I’m not clingy at all. I like exploring on my own outside my room as well as tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with Meg, Amy, and Jo, a.k.a. “#the-Little-Women-litter.” When we’re exhausted, we like to climb the cat tree and snooze in a kitten puddle at the top.

Our beautiful feral momma Silver brought us to Foster Meowmy’s garage door one morning. Meowmy had been feeding Silver, who knew that she would take care of us #Little-Women like she’d been doing for Silver’s first litter. Yes, Meowmy did just that – as well as spayed Silver to stop the endless cycle of kittens.

Now I’m ready to blanket my forever family with peace, love, and joy as we cuddle together. And  I can entertain you too – just watch me try to figure out the cat puzzle toy as well as play soccer with jingle-bell balls all over the room. Although we’re available separately, I’m especially bonded with Meg, and we think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. That way we could be energetic playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today!  Just find out how perfect I am – I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart!

QUITE THE SOCCER STRIKER

DOB 7/22/23

Hey there, everyone! I’m Blaze, a very sweet and playful brown tabby gal who’s a kitten at heart since I love to play with my crinkle balls, catnip mice, and wand toys. I satisfy my penchant for adventure by exploring all the nooks and crannies around the house. And then no day is complete without basking in a patch of sunshine on the windowsill while I catnap.

Foster Meowmy rescued me as a two-year-old stray from a garage, where she also found my litter of four kittens. Thank heavens she brought us all to the safe haven of her home. She has bestowed on me the “Momma Cat of the Year” award because I nursed not only my kittens but also multiple orphan kittens in my foster home. My motto was “No kittens without milk,” and Foster Meowmy will always be grateful for the R.N. (registered nursing) service I provided her. I definitely "earned my keep!"

Now that I’ve permanently retired from nurturing motherhood, I’m ready to delight my forever family with my world-class soccer finesse as I bat my toys around the room. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a young girl like me who's past the age of kitten frenzy. ENTERTAINING STUNT MAN

DOB 3/4/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Bolt, a very sweet, friendly, and playful brown tabby fella who likes to chat with Foster Meowmy about how her day is going (or remind her when it’s chow time!). Foster Meowmy rescued my momma Blaze, my three siblings, and me from a garage when I was about three months old.

I love to pounce and tumble, climb and wrestle with my siblings -- especially with my sister Tornado since we are very bonded. When I grow up I want to be a professional stunt cat because I'm thrilled when I hear Foster Meowmy’s joyful exclamations and laughter as she watches our acrobatic roughhousing. As I overheard her tell a friend, “The entertainment value of Bolt and Tornado together is better than on their own.”

Now I’m ready to delight my forever family with my chatty conversations and my gymnastic stunts. Could that be with you? If you’re looking for a pair of kittens, please consider adopting Tornado and me together. JUMPS ON MEOWMY'S BACK TO SUPERVISE HER CHORES

DOB 4/12/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Breena, a soft, sweet, and loving red tabby gal who thrives on hooman affection and interaction. I like nothing better than a nice cuddle with Foster Meowmy. I’m a “Princess” with an operatic voice, which I engage whenever I want Meowmy’s attention, which is pretty much all of the time. I am a firm believer that Foster Meowmy is a living part of the furnishings. So I invented a nice trick of jumping up on her back whenever she’s bending over to scoop the litterbox or to pick up toys off the floor. Nothing like a bird’s-eye view to supervise Meowmy when she’s doing her chores!

When I was about 11 weeks old, I was saved just in the nick of time from the middle of a busy intersection by some brave rescuers. Since my momma and siblings were nowhere in sight, they brought me to HOPE for fostering. Thank heavens Foster Meowmy had some other kittens about my age and brought me into the fold. I’m the smallest of the group, so during playtime with my foster mates or with Foster Meowmy, I’m a bit shy and hang back tentatively at first. However, once I decide it’s time to jump into the ruckus, I’m all in!

Now I’m ready to bring my sweet little ball of fluff and sprinkle magic dust among my forever family. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me today! I just might sing an aria from Carmen or Aida

DOB 6/15/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Brutus, a sweet, innocently handsome, and playful grey tabby boy with white tuxedo markings. When my sister Claire and I were six weeks old, Foster Meowmy rescued us as strays from the neighborhood clubhouse. Claire and I were initially shy and reluctant to “make the first move” when we first arrived in the safe haven of our foster home. Admittedly it took me a while to warm up, but I soon learned how much fun and relaxing it is to lie on my back upon Foster Meowmy’s thighs while she strokes my tummy and massages my head. In fact, I often fall asleep in this position. I overheard Foster Meowmy tell someone, “Brutus is great once I’m holding him -- he turns to putty in my hands.”

But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I love to play with my toys -- especially the laser pointer, the ribbon on a stick toy, and anything that rolls.  Now I’m ready to “turn into putty” in the hands of my forever family. Could that be you? Although I again may take a while to warm up, I promise to be a cuddle bug to anyone. Arrange to meet me today! I'm ready for you to rub-a-dub-dub my tummy!

HOPE ID 25-0821-G189

Brutus’ $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

LIKES TO CUDDLE ON MEOWMY'S NECK OR CHEST

DOB 3/20/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Cabbage, a big, friendly, outgoing, fluffy tuxedo guy who’s mostly gray on my back, face, and tail but mostly white on my tummy and legs. My favorite spots to nap are draped on Foster Meowmy’s neck or on top of her chest, but her lap will do just fine if being “up close and personal” blocks her view of the TV. I like to sleep at her feet in bed so I can wake her up to a symphony of my adoring purrs the next morning. I’m Meowmy’s little shadow who follows her from room to room around the house as she does her chores. I’m not demanding – I can entertain myself playing quietly with my toys -- but I just like to hang out close to her.

My brother Lettuce and I were born to a feral momma who lived in Foster Meowmy’s back yard. When we were just three weeks old, we came right up to Foster Meowmy to ask for her for some attention and cuddling. Knowing how unusual it is for kittens NOT to inherit the “fear gene” from an unsocialized momma cat, Foster Meowmy scooped us up and brought us to the safe haven of her home. I heard her tell someone, “They were just too friendly and adorable to be left outside!”

Lettuce and I assimilated easily into the family, which includes a sassy cat-friendly Chihuahua. We spend most of our time tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other, and then we collapse in a kitten puddle when we’re exhausted. We love to chase each other through the cat tunnel, bat at the tower of roller-balls, play soccer with catnip mice and crinkle balls, and flip like dolphins when Foster Meowmy waves the feather wand toy over our heads.

Now I’m ready to bring my perfect balance of easygoing companionship and kinetic kitten energy to entertain my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! Until I’m four months old, I really need another kitty in the house to keep me company. Who’s a better candidate than Lettuce? Although we’re available separately, we think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

HOPE ID 26-0502-C027

Cabbage’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

HANDSOME MARBLE SWIRLS ON HIS SIDES

DOB 2/26/26 (pretty cool birthdate!)

Hey there, everyone! I’m Caleb, an outgoing, affectionate, cuddly, and playful fella who’s just one of the identical brown tabbies in the #winsome-fivesome litter. I’m the adventurer of the bunch who embraces the challenge of new things -- novel toys, uncharted places, and unfamiliar people. I especially like it when hoomans shower me with attention and play interactively by waving the wand-toy over my head or wiggling the string toy around the room like a snake for me to pounce on and chase. I’m seldom alone because I love to rev my engine at both two-legged and four-legged critters in my foster home and then luxuriate in their attention.

Sure enough --- Andrew, Joshua, Mary, Martha, and I were born five weeks later!

Now I’m ready to explore my forever home and meet my forever family. My goal is to be like Indiana Jones and experience as many adventures as he did. Although I’m available separately as long as there’s another kitty in your home, it’d be the cat’s meow if you adopted me with one of my siblings. Two is more fun for you, and we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to love you and play with you all day, every day. I can hardly wait to meet you!

READY TO BE SPOILED

DOB 1/1/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Cassie, a calm, affectionate, and cuddly tuxedo gal with four white mittens whose favorite relaxing spot is snuggled against Foster Meowmy’s thigh as I soak in the quiet peace. I was a friendly stray who wandered around a neighborhood until a Good Samaritan started feeding me. When I turned up “heavily” pregnant although I was a five-month-old kitten myself, I was taken inside until I delivered my litter of five.

Like hot potatoes, my little family bounced around to the homes of several neighbors, but each one couldn’t keep us long-term for one reason or another. Yes, “it took a village” until we finally landed in the safe haven of our Foster Meowmy’s home, and she’s promised to find us all wonderful families through HOPE. Although there are no dogs or kids, I fit in nicely with the resident cats, and I’m pleased to say that I’m completely comfy when kids handle me at adoption events.

Now that I’ve permanently retired from nurturing motherhood, I’m ready to snuggle beside everyone in my forever family. Could that be you? And maybe you could spoil me just a little since I missed out on my carefree kittenhood? My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU! Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages of adopting a young gal like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

HOPE ID 25-0913-A079

Cassie’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

THUMBED A RIDE TO NIRVANA FROM A GAS STATION

DOB 11/22/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Charm, a super-sweet, snuggly, and playful brown tabby gal with white tuxedo markings who’s ready to steal your heart! I love to lie on Foster Meowmy’s lap with my belly up, and I make sure that my purr motor is turned up to high volume.

When my sister Venus and I were about three months old, a Good Samaritan found us at a southeast Houston gas station. Thank heavens she rescued us as friendly but orphaned strays because our momma was nowhere in sight. We eventually landed in the safe haven of our Foster Meowmy’s home, where we tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other until we’re exhausted and then collapse in a kitten puddle. As we gobble up all the yummy food now, the hardscrabble days of scrounging for food at the gas station are far away in our rear-view mirror.

Now I’m ready to bring my winsome personality to bewitch my forever family with my Charm. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU! Although we’re available separately, Venus and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. We could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Cheeto #craves-attention

STUBBY TAIL LOOKS LIKE A CHEETO!

DOB 5/31/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Cheeto, an adorable, affectionate, and petite red tuxedo-tabby Amercian Bobtail mix gal, which means that I have a half-inch stubby tail and four white mittens and vest. What’s funny is that my stub looks like a Cheeto sprouting where my tail should be! I love to be the center of Foster Meowmy’s attention, so I happily cuddle with her and purr contentedly while she gently gives me head massages.

I’m the first of the kitties to jump on Foster Meowmy's bed to wake her up in the morning, and I continue throughout the day looking for moments when I can grab her attention for her to scratch my cheeks, chin, and ears. I'm  always very curious to sample her food, and I’ve discovered that Cheerios and Goldfish are better treats than Temptations! My favorite part of the day is interactive playtime when Foster Meowmy waves the wand toy over my head for me to claw or bounces around the red laser dot for me to chase.

I was about seven weeks old with no momma or siblings in sight when Foster Meowmy noticed me hiding under someone’s car in her apartment complex. I was terrified and thought that all hoomans were scary monsters like the rest of the outdoor stray animals I’d been fending off. I figured that the best defense was a good offense, so when she first took me home, I played the nonaggressive but tough little cookie who growled whenever I felt threatened. Now that I’ve learned that I can trust her, Foster Meowmy is so impressed with the way I have opened up to spending quality time with her.

To my delight, Foster Meowmy had previously rescued another orphaned red-and-white tabby fella named Cheets, who is just two weeks older than I am. Gosh! We look so much alike that you would think we are siblings except Cheets is noticeably larger than I am. We have a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. After a slow introduction, I also now enjoy chasing and playing with the three resident cats.

Now I’m ready to bring my stubby-tailed cuteness and attention-grabbing demands to my new family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today!

HOPE ID 25-0726-A065

NICE PERSONALITY

Clementine #sister-of-Herb

You are here:

FELINE CHATTY-CATHY DOLL

DOB 9/29/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Clementine, a very sweet, silly, and chatty “bicolor” gal, which means that I’m mostly white with orange tabby on my face, “saddleback,” and tail. My initial shyness and skittishness have been overcome, which can mostly be attributed to my love for canned food which Foster Meowmy used to build my trust in her. Now I’m very curious but open up to new hoomans and things on my own terms. I’m devoted to my “big brother” Herb, and I look to him for reassurance before I venture out to try anything new. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle for a well-deserved catnap.

Foster Meowmy rescued my momma Rainbow as a friendly abandoned stray in her neighborhood and brought Rainbow inside to the safe haven of her home. Rainbow ended up already pregnant when she left the street life, but thank heavens we were born in foster care. Now I’m ready to bring my dainty sweetness and girlish chatter to blanket my forever family with joy and happiness. Could that be you? Because Herb and I are very bonded to each other and our symbiosis is mutually beneficial, Foster Meowmy is insisting that we be adopted together. Two is more fun than just one, and we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet us today!

Hey there, everyone! I’m Coal, a sweet, very mellow, and handsome Russian Blue mix fella who loves to play in the cat tunnel. I may be a big boy, but I’m still a kitten at heart.

My brother Ember and I were found in a neighborhood close to Foster Meowmy’s home when we were about 4 months old. Boy howdy! We were relieved that Foster Meowmy brought us to the safe haven of her home. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we cuddle.

Now I’m ready with my swarthy good looks and easygoing personality to bring joy and calm to my forever family. Could that be you? I hope you’ll consider adopting Ember and me together. Cricket #bonded-to-Beetle

You are here:

AN ADORABLE CHATTERBOX AND SOCIAL BUTTERFLY

DOB 4/15/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Cricket, a gentle, affectionate, and cuddly mitted tuxedo gal who has a permanent splash of milk on my left muzzle. I have the funkiest toes on the block because two of them are half black, half white. I love when Foster Meowmy rubs my tummy and scratches my back, and it drives me crazy with delight when she waves the wand toy over my head. I can also entertain myself by batting loose balls around the room and as well as the ones in the tower of balls. I’m also a curious and adventuresome explorer throughout the house.

I’m a little social butterfly who thrives on both hooman and cat companionship – whether I’m sleeping with Foster Meowmy or tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with my sister Beetle. I even play well with the resident cats in my foster home. I’m a chatty girl who loves to tell Meowmy about how my day is going. In fact, I talk as I go about my day – even when I’m in the litter box. I don’t hesitate to communicate – in fact, I cry when I’m lonely or bored because I hate being by myself.

Beetle and I were born in foster care after Foster Meowmy rescued our momma Bug on the stormy night of Valentine’s Day. I guess you’d say that I’m spoiled because I’ve never been without plenty of attention and TLC from both my mommies, and this may explain my aversion for being alone. That’s why Foster Meowmy is insisting that Beetle and I be adopted together so that we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Now I’m ready to be your family’s social butterfly and adorable chatterbox. Once I arrive in my forever home, you’ll find out how ironic it is that I was named Cricket. Believe me -- your household can never again say, “It’s crickets here!” Arrange to meet me today!

HOPE ID 26-0701-A037

Cricket’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

FOR HIM IT'S EITHER UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL OR HIGH UP AND FAR AWAY

DOB 6/15/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Danny, and I’m an outgoing, affectionate, and very cuddly “bicolor” fella, which means that I’m half brown tabby on my head, saddleback, and tail with a white blaze, vest, boots, and tummy. I’m really quite stunningly handsome, if I do say so myself. I’m a talkative boy, and I turn on my purr motor the instant that Foster Meowmy picks me up. My favorite places to nap are ON Foster Meowmy’s face or the highest shelf on the cat tree! There’s no in-between for this dude – I love to be up close and personal with Foster Meowmy or else far up   in high places!

I’m a vivacious boy who loves to run, jump, and chase my other cat friends in my foster home. And I can also entertain myself by playing a mean game of soccer with my jingle-bell ball. Although I’ve only occasionally come in contact with the dogs in my foster home, I would probably be fine with meeting a new one as long as we are properly introduced.

An acquaintance of Foster Meowmy’s found my littermates and me outside as neonatal orphans with no momma in sight, and our rescuer bottle-fed us until we were about a month old. Once I could eat on my own, Foster Meowmy opened her home for me to join her resident cats, who have become my surrogate aunts and uncles and have taught me all the kitten manners that Momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around. I’ve always been plagued with GI problems, but once Foster Meowmy put me on sensitive-stomach wet food twice a day, with a little dry food in between, my upset tummy problems are a thing of the past. Even though the food is over the counter, I’m considered a special-needs kitty because I do need a certain food to keep my tummy well behaved!

Now I’m ready to be the lovable little scamp who waltzes into my forever home! Could that be yours? Ideally I’d love for you to have one or more cat friends to play with me. Arrange to meet me today! I promise we’ll fall head to paws in love with each other the instant that we meet!

Daphne Blake #sister-of-Velma

LOVES TO GIVE FACE KISSES AND SLEEP BETWEEN YOUR LEGS

DOB 9/21/24

Hey there, everyone! Named after Daphne Blake of the Mystery Gang in Scooby Doo, I’m Daphne, a sweet, petite, cuddly, and playful Bombay mix gal who enjoys giving face kisses and sleeping between people’s legs as well as playing chase with other kitties. As Foster Meowmy testifies -- I’m the perfect mix of snuggly affection and kinetic energy! I love all animals – dogs and cats – as long as we’ve been properly introduced. I’m initially shy when I first meet people, but then I become very talkative and friendly once we get acquainted. When I’m not running around the house, in my solitary moments I love to perch in the front window so that I can observe people passing before me.

Foster Meowmy trapped my pregnant feral momma and brought her to the safe haven of Meowmy’s home, where Momma birthed my sister Velma and me. Unfortunately Momma had ringworm, which she passed onto Velma and me, and it spread to all of the pets and hoomans in the whole house. Since it took months and months for everyone to get clear of the ringworm, Velma and I got a late start getting ready to be adopted.

Now I’m ready to bring my beautiful, tiny, and snuggly self to sprinkle my forever family with joy and laughter. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Although we’re available separately, Velma and I think that it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together.

HOPE ID 24-1109-C129

Daphne’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

THEY ALWAYS PURR AND MAKE BISCUITS CONTENTEDLY

DOB 3/15/23

Meow! Meow, everyone! We’re Dumpling and Dim Sum, a bonded pair of brown-tabby brothers who are ultra-sweet, friendly, and affectionate. We love to cuddle with our hoomans almost as much as with each other. We’re a happy pair who’s always purring and making biscuits, whether we’re snuggled with each other or having our chins scratched in Foster Meowmy’s lap.

A Good Samaritan found us and dropped us off at PetSmart/Pearland, and thankfully our foster meowmy agreed to welcome us into her home until we can find a fantastic forever home. She’s insisting that we be adopted together because we’re inseparable best friends who love each other very much.

We fit into our foster home beautifully. We enjoy playing with each other as well as when Foster Meowmy interacts with us using a wand toy with enticing hanging balls. We’re also curious and love to explore, so watch those open cabinet and closet doors! We may sneak inside for a peek.

I heard Foster Meowmy tell someone, “It’s been amazing watching Dumpling and Dim Sum grow up into such fine young gentlemen. They’d be a wonderful addition to any family. We hate to see them go, but they deserve a forever home to share their abundant love with their forever owners.” Hope you’re convinced that you should arrange to meet us right away!

MR CURIOSITY

DOB 7/10/24

Hey there, everyone! I’m Ember, a sweet, inquisitive, and handsome “bicolor” fella, which means that I’m mostly white with orange tabby on my head, saddleback, and tail. Don’t you love my gorgeous green eyes? I love to explore all around the house because it satisfies my curiosity.

My brother Coal and I were found in a neighborhood close to Foster Meowmy’s home when we were about 4 months old. Boy howdy! We were relieved that Foster Meowmy brought us to the safe haven of her home. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we cuddle.

Now I’m ready to bring my gentle demeanor and Marco Polo exploratory skills to my forever family. Could that be you? I hope you’ll consider adopting Coal and me together. Fanta #fantastic

JUMPS IN YOUR ARMS FOR KISSES AND SCRITCHES

DOB 10/10/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Fanta, sweet, affectionate, and playful orange tabby fella who was named after Cocoa Cola’s orange-flavored soft drink. Then again, I think I'm well named  because I'm FANTAstic! I love my Foster Meowmy and will enthusiastically jump into her arms so that she’ll shower me with kisses and scratch my ears. I’m a frisky dude who adores attacking the turkey-feather wand toy as she waves it over my head, and you should see how fast I scramble to chase the elusive red laser dot.

In my solitary moments, I enjoy watching the squirrels play outside as I view them through the window. I get along well with the other cats in my foster home, and although I haven’t met any dogs, Foster Meowmy thinks I do great with them too, as long as we were properly introduced.

I was rescued by a vet tech who found me as a 5-month-old orphaned kitten with no momma or siblings in sight. The vet discovered that my eyes do not make enough tears, but thank heavens an eye specialist has prescribed eyes drops that are working wonders. With just five drops per day, my tears have improved from 0 to level13, and the vet is shooting for a level 20.

The vet tech turned to HOPE to find me a forever home, and I’m so glad that Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate and agreed to foster me. Although my eyes don’t look different and certainly don’t slow me down from my typical kitten antics, I’m still considered a “special needs” kitty because I’ll need three different prescription eye drops daily for the rest of my life. I hope that my slight disability won’t scare you off from allowing me to demonstrate to you, as my forever family, my cute trick of jumping into your arms to receive your kisses and scritches. Just think how great it will make you feel to know that I appreciate you so heartily! Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

Fei Fei #soft-bunny-fur

LOVES WAND TOYS AND CHURUS

DOB 9/15/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Fei Fei, and I was named after the bright, adventurous girl who builds a homemade rocket ship to travel to the moon in the animated fantasy film “Over the Moon.” Fei Fei is a common Chinese name that translates “very fragrant, luxurious, and beautiful.” I don’t know about “fragrant,” but I do have luxuriously soft white fur like a bunny’s, and I’m obviously beautiful! I’m a sweet, gentle, and poised calico/Turkish Van mix, which means that I’m mostly white with gray and orange tabby patches on my head and tail. I’m really quite a lovely package, if I do say so myself.

I guess you’re wondering why a perfectly exquisite kitten like me needs to find a home. I did have a loving home that, for the few months of my short life, I shared with my hooman mom and another kitty. Unfortunately, my world was turned upside down when Mom was transferred to a new job in another city, and she could not take me with her. Thank heavens my HOPE foster meowmy stepped up to the plate and agreed to find me a loving new family.

I like Foster Meowmy a lot because she tantalizes me by waving wand toys over my head and then feeding me Churus as a treat afterwards. I’m still adjusting to my new American foster home because Mandarin is no longer spoken, but my ears are getting more attuned to English every day. I’m certainly ready to bring my gentle disposition, graceful daintiness, and soft bunny fur to bless my new forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

MELLOW AND EASYGOING CUDDLE KING

DOB 4/1/15

Hey there, everyone! I’m Felix, and I’m a very friendly, affectionate, and mellow “bicolor” fella, which means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, “saddleback,” and tail. I’m really quite handsomely marked with a big circular patch of black on my white left side. I’m crazy about Foster Meowmy because she coos over me, brushes me, and strokes me gently. I love to snuggle with her every night. I’m quite the soccer striker in that I like to bat around crinkle balls and catnip mice. I enjoy children because they will play with me.

I was living very happily with my “bestie” Squeakers in a home where we were really cherished. Unfortunately our hooman had some financial setbacks in this inflationary economy. When my future Foster Meowmy learned that my owner was going to be evicted, Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate and offered to foster us until HOPE could find us a wonderful new home.

I adjusted quickly and smoothly to my new foster home. I’m an easy-going dude who gets along great with the resident cats -- as long as they don't have a cranky or "drama queen" disposition. Although I haven’t been around dogs, I might do great with pooches too, with proper introductions.

Now I’m ready to bring my devoted affection and playful geniality to my forever family. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is you!

Florence & Frida #bonded-sisters

You are here:

ADORABLE LITTLE MISCHIEF-MAKERS

DOB 3/29/25

Hey there, everyone! We’re Florence and Frida, an inseparable pair of almost-identical tortoiseshell twin sisters. Our foster pawrents tell us apart because I (Frida) have white mittens on my front paws and high white boots on my back legs as well as a splash or apricot on my forehead. We were born in foster care to a stray momma who had been rescued, so we've been handled a lot from the get-go.

We both love it when our foster pawrents lavish us with loving attention. In fact, we expect to be cooed over! Once I (Florence) got comfy with my foster hoomans' coddling me, I was the first to vocalize my complaint when I noticed that they weren’t focusing enough on us; however, now I (Frida) am not afraid to add my voice to the choir in demanding more attention when we’ve been ignored.

I (Frida) am the leader of the two of us, so I’m usually the first to investigate new experiences, and I (Florence) usually follow not far behind. Our foster pawrents call us their little troublemakers, and we are making an effort to learn our boundaries and restrictions. It’s difficult to find us when we’re not together. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.

Now we’re ready to bring our frenetic kitten energy, sociability, and mischief-making to our forever family. Could that be you? Our foster pawrents are insisting that we be adopted together so we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while our hoomans are at work or on vacation. We promise to be more fun than a barrel of monkeys! Arrange to meet us today!!

Frankie #bonded-to-Sweet-Peach

You are here:

WHAT AN ADORABLE MINI-PANTHER!

DOB 4/2/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Frankie, and I’m a sweet, friendly, easygoing, and gentle Bombay mix fella who knows my name and comes when Foster Meowmy calls me! I like it when Foster Meowmy holds me when she’s sitting down, but, like a lot of kitties, I’m not crazy about being picked up and carried around. Of course I luxuriate when she scratches my ears, cheeks, and chin. Like most Bombay mixes, I look like a little panther with my sleek, shiny black patent-leather coat and my copper-penny eyes.

Foster Meowmy trapped my foster buddy Sweet Peach and me because she thought we were feral kittens, but we ended up being friendly enough for her to keep us inside to try to socialize us instead of releasing us back outdoors after getting "fixed." Her efforts panned out, and we tamed up nicely after about a month. Although Sweet Peach and I are not littermates, we are very bonded to each other. We both love to play interactively with Foster Meowmy when she waves the wand toy over our heads or wiggles it around the room like a snake for us to chase. I’m a dominant male, and whereas Sweet Peach thinks I’m wonderful, there’s a good deal of tension when I’m around Foster Meowmy’s resident cats.

Now I’m ready to bring my sweet personality and panther-like good looks to my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! Although we’re available separately, consider adopting me with Sweet Peach. Two is more fun than one, and we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Godzilla #monster-duo

You are here:

GOOFY, SASSY FELLA

DOB 8/24/19

Howdy everyone! I’m Godzilla, a goofy, sassy, curious, and energetic brown tabby fella who’s proud of my monster-name. I may be a big boy like Godzilla, but I’m a sweet marshmallow at heart. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share.

I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids.

During Tropical Storm Imelda, my sister Mothra and I, the #monster-duo, were found as orphan kittens with no momma in sight. My foster mom heard my crying on a driveway, and she says that I’ve continued to let everyone know my opinions ever since. I was the runt of my litter and was bottle-fed by my foster pawrents. Boy did I love my bottle!

Those “nursing” sessions ended up being a great time to bond with my humans and probably explain why I’m so sociable with people. The bottle has now been replaced with cat treats, which have probably contributed to my “plus-size.”

If you’re looking for a friendly feline companion who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Han #green-globe-eyes

You are here:

WILL DO ANYTHING FOR CHURUS!

DOB 4/1/24

Hey there, everyone! I am Han, a friendly, outgoing, and playful brown tabby fella with gigantic green globe eyes who loves everyone – hoomans of all ages, dogs (at least the small ones whom I have met), and other kitties. Although I am past the crazy kitten stage, I still have plenty of spunk and adore chasing the Turkey Flyer wand toy that Foster Meowmy waves. I am a sweet boy but, admittedly, I am not a lap kitty. Instead, since I am very focused on food and will do anything to lick a sleeve of Churu treat, Foster Meowmy understood that the way to my heart was through my tummy, not premature cuddling. That is why I am a pushover at the mercy of anyone who offers delicious food to attract me to them.

Foster Meowmy rescued me from hanging around a dumpster in New Caney. An orphan with no momma or siblings in sight, I was only one month old and living the hardscrabble life at a much-too-young age. Once I arrived to my foster home, I was welcomed by the other cats and little dogs, who served as my surrogate aunts and uncles and who taught me everything my momma would have taught me if she had been around. Now that a new crop of kittens has arrived, I am intrigued by watching the youngsters play. The tables have turned, and currently I am the big brother who encourages them by teaching them how to play games.

Now I am ready to bring my lovable friskiness, food-fetish, and game-coaching talents to be the bright, new star in my forever home. Could that be yours? I can not wait to meet you and your other friendly pets! I think you will be quite taken by my big green globe eyes and innocent expression. Plus I think I would fit like a glove into your family dynamics!  We can write a new chapter in our lives together!

Henry #rags-to-riches

You are here:

SWEET, STRONG SURVIVOR

DOB 9/1/22

Hey there, everyone! I’m Henry, a sweet, gentle, easygoing bicolor fella, which means that my thick, plush coat is mostly white with gray tabby on my head, saddleback, and tail. I’m an expert nap enthusiast who always looks forward to my next adventure in the dream world!

I was a stray who looked “worse for the wear” when I started hanging out in my future foster meowmy’s yard. Hoomans, other cats, and life in general had not treated me well in the past, so I was hesitant to trust Foster Meowmy. She was extremely patient with me, however, and soon realized that the way to my heart was through my stomach. As she wooed me with yummy food, I eventually allowed her to bring me inside. It didn’t take me long to realize the great gratitude that I owed my foster family, so I’ve become quite sociable now that I’m an indoor cat who enjoys all the amenities of being inside.

When Foster Meowmy got me fully vetted, she discovered that I not only had an itchy skin infection (which she treated) but also I was positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV+), which I probably contracted from the deep bite wound from another cat. It was heartbreaking news, but I knew I could continue being the strong survivor I’ve always been. Since FeLV can be passed on "casually" by sharing food bowls and litter boxes, I should be kept separate from other household cats. Solitude has never been an issue for me as I rather enjoy the luxury of my relaxation time. Of course, it would be perfect if I could be adopted into a home with another FeLV+ kitty who needs a companion!

Now that I’m fat and sassy, I’m ready to become the cushion connoisseur in my new family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise to halve your sorrows and double your joys if you take me home with you!

JUST MISCHIEVOUS ENOUGH TO STILL BE CUTE

DOB 9/29/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Herb, a very outgoing, affectionate, and silly tuxedo with white mittens, vest, and belly who is just mischievous enough to still be cute. I’m a smart and curious fella who absolutely loves people as well as my sister Clementine. I’m the proverbial “big brother” who always looks out for Clementine and reassures her that I’m there for her.

Rainbow ended up already being pregnant when she came indoors, but thank heavens we were born in foster care. Now I’m ready to bring my friendly nature and innocent mischief to brighten my forever family. Could that be you? Because Clementine and I are very bonded to each other and our symbiosis is mutually beneficial, Foster Meowmy is insisting that we be adopted together. Two is more fun than just one, and we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet us today!

EASY-GOING LOVEBUG

DOB 9/1/21

Howdy everyone! I’m Indy, a handsome, easy-going black DSH/Bombay mix dude with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. It took me a while to learn that being petted, chin scratches, and lap time with my foster dad might just be a good thing. My momma Luna led the way, so I started curling up on my foster dad’s warm chest for a quick power nap and discovered that it was pretty delightful.

My favorite pastimes include following my foster dad into the bathroom (Bombay mixes can be very dog-like), looking handsome, and watching the world go by as I bask in a patch of sunshine on a windowsill. My favorite likes are dry food, toys with tassels, and warm beds.  Arrange to meet me today. Find out if YOUR chest could be my next napping station!

Jasper #car-stowaway

You are here:

CERTIFIED CHATTY CAT

DOB 4/1/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Jasper, a cuddly, extremely playful, and curious brown tabby fella with strong mackerel stripes that make me look like an exotic jungle cat. I’m a very friendly and sociable guy who loves people, especially Foster Meowmy. That’s because she scratches my head just the way I like it – gently and endlessly. If it’s cuddle time, I don’t hesitate to poke my paw at her to remind her that I’m due for those glorious head massages. I can be a Velcro kitty who likes to stick close to her so much that I follow her around just to be in the same room with her. I’m not demanding, but sometimes I like to rub my pheromones on her legs just to remind her that I’m there. Occasionally I wake up and crawl up to be right next to her or lie on top of her.

Foster Meowmy calls me her “certified yapper” because I’ll talk her arm off if I’m bored or lonely. And I don’t hesitate to give her my opinion on something when I’m exploring new spaces, toys, and even my siblings’ tails! Yes, I’m an extremely curious guy who continues to investigate and observe my surrounding world – long after my siblings have crashed and burned. In fact, I have gotten so seriously focused on my explorations that I’ve jumped straight in the air when Foster Meowmy surprised me by touching me. Always ready to play, I’m a frisky dude who’s obsessed with baby mice, crinkle balls, and spring toys. Another time that I “meow” to Foster Meowmy is to enlist her assistance in finding my favorite toys that I’ve lost.

My feral momma birthed Obsidian, Onyx, Topaz, and me underneath the seat of an old car parked in a used-car business. Foster Meowmy’s finding us might never have happened if she hadn’t been trying to rescue another set of kittens whom another feral momma had birthed outside of Foster Meowmy’s house. The other momma had moved her litter from Meowmy’s yard to a few doors down to the used-car business. Imagine Meowmy’s surprise when she found not only the kittens she’d been tracking under the driver’s seat but also my litter under the passenger’s seat!! When we were seven weeks old and could eat on our own, Foster Meowmy gathered up both of our stowaway litters and brought us all inside to the safe haven of her home.

Now I’m ready to bring my affectionate cuddling, Velcro companionship, and endearing chatter to my forever family. Could that be you? Will you help me find my lost toys? Arrange to meet me today, and if you’re looking for a pair of kittens, please consider adopting me with one of the other #car-stowaways. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted as a pair so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

READY TO PERK UP YOUR DAY WITH HER LIVELINESS

DOB 4/17/26

Hey there, everyone! I am Java, a gentle, outgoing, and affectionate Bombay mix gal who got my name because my dark coloring resembles coffee and because of my lively personality. I thrive on being held, cuddled, and stroked by all ages of my hooman family. I curl up on Foster Daddy‘s chest while we watch YouTube videos on his phone. When Foster Meowmy opens the door, I scamper up to greet her in hopes that it is time to play or be petted. When she is in bed, I cuddle on top of her wherever I can find a cozy spot. Plus I am mellow enough to play gently with the 5- and 7-year-old kids in the family. My busy foster home includes an adult male cat and a small senior dog, and I get along great with them too. I am so confident, easygoing, and adaptable that I have already had a blast on a family road trip to San Antonio, where I quickly settled into my new accommodations.

My feral momma birthed my twin brother Joe and me on an apartment balcony, but -- thank heavens -- Foster Meowmy trapped our momma and brought our little family to the safe haven of her home when I was about two weeks old. About a week later, an orphaned ticked-tabby fella who was a week younger than Joe and me was introduced to our momma, and she lovingly accepted him as one of her own. Suddenly I had a new brother named Mocha! The three of us have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we are exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.

Now I am ready to become your affectionate best friend who will provide endless cuddles and playtime antics to brighten my forever home. Although we are available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if Joe or Mocha could be adopted with me. We could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you are at work or on vacation. MARCO POLO EXPLORER

DOB 2/1/24

Hey there, everyone! I’m Journey, a cuddly, adventurous, and playful “bicolor” fella, which means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, saddleback, and tail. I enjoy snuggling with Foster Meowmy when it’s time for bed. I’m an inquisitive fella who likes go on adventures to explore every crook and cranny in the whole house.

Foster Meowmy rescued me in her neighborhood as a teenage orphan stray with no momma or siblings in sight. When I came up with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis), Foster Meowmy successfully nursed me back to health with the effective new treatment that the vet prescribed. I’m one of the growing numbers of kitties who now survive FIP, and I’m so grateful to be alive after my harrowing medical “journey!”

I fit into the feline-family dynamics of my foster home quite well. I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with the other foster kitties, and when we’re exhausted, we snuggle. I will say that I’m not a big fan of the resident dogs, however. Now I’m ready to bless my forever family with my affectionate, curious, and frisky personality. May I cuddle with you at bedtime? Arrange to meet me today!

Karma #car-stowaway

You are here:

MAJOR CUDDLE BUG -- ON "TORTIE" TERMS

DOB 4/13/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Karma, a cuddly, affectionate, and loving tortoiseshell gal who relishes it when Foster Meowmy lavishes me with attention, especially constant face kisses as well as head and chest massages. Of course, in typical tortietude, everything has to be on my terms. Sometimes, when I’m in the mood for loving, I have to paw at Foster Meowmy to tell her just the sweet spot where I want her to pet me. Other times I have to remind Foster Meowmy of my sweet presence when I see one of my siblings getting her love instead of me.

When I’m in a caressing mood and I see Foster Meowmy lying down, I’ll run up to snuggle right next to her, often draping my arm over hers. On the other hand, if I’m the one who’s asleep and Foster Meowmy comes to cuddle up next to me, I immediately start purring in anticipation of her giving me some affection. It’s fine with me if Foster Meowmy holds me briefly, but I’ll meow when I’m ready to get down. And I’m no couch potato! No siree! I love to play hide-and-seek and tag as well as roll around in my beloved catnip. True confessions: I’m almost always a sweetie, but sometimes I nibble on Foster Meowmy, including her toes!

After my feral momma birthed Jupiter, Pluto, Opal, and me outside of Foster Meowmy’s house, Momma moved us through an open window to inside a neighbor’s car . . . and then again a few doors down to a used-car business. Imagine Foster Meowmy’s surprise when she looked inside an old car and found not only us under the driver’s seat but also another litter of four kittens under the passenger’s seat!! When we were five weeks old and could eat on our own, Foster Meowmy gathered up both of our stowaway litters and brought us all inside to the safe haven of her home.

Now I’m ready to jump in the laps of my forever family and then luxuriate in their hugs, cuddles, and kisses. Could I be the next “baby” you shower with attention? Arrange to meet me today, and if you’re looking for a pair of kittens, please consider adopting me with one of the other #car-stowaways. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted as a pair so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Karma’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

AVID EXPLORER AND PLAYGIRL

DOB 3/23/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Lacy, a sweet, beautiful, and adventurous tabico (tabby-calico) gal who’s one of the #microwave-box-litter, which also consists of my four siblings Leroy, Libby, Lucy, and Loo Loo. We got our #name because someone left us in a microwave oven box on the doorstep of Foster Meowmy’s vet. Adorable to look at as I am, I'm not just eye candy! No siree! I love to explore and am thrilled when I discover all the nooks and crannies in my foster home. I can also entertain myself quite well because I love to bat around jingle-bell balls and catnip mice like a soccer striker, and Foster Meowmy really works her magic for me when she waves the turkey-feather wand toy over my head.

Of course, my siblings and I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m quite enthusiastic at meal times because I love canned food, and I won’t let any of my siblings stand in the way of my food bowl! Consequently, I have a "healthy glow" and the fattest cheeks of any of my siblings. Now I’m ready to bring my beautiful, playful, and venturesome self to enrich my forever home. Could that be yours? Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave pawprints all over your heart. Incidentally, although we’re available separately, it’d be the cat’s meow if you adopted me with another kitten in the #microwave-box-litter so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Leo #tabby-IV-pack

You are here:

THE LEADER OF THE PACK!

DOB 4/2/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Leo, an outgoing, friendly, and curious gray tabby fella who just loves hoomans and seeks them out. When Foster Meowmy lies down, I take it as an opportunity to play with her hair. Put me in the same group of brave American explorers as Daniel Boone (the Appalachians), Richard Byrd (Antarctica), and Neil Armstrong (the moon) because there’s nothing I like better than finding new places to investigate. I guess you’d say that I’m the leader of the #tabby-IV-pack because my three siblings depend on me to show them new things to do and new spaces where we can run throughout our foster home.

Our semi-feral momma birthed Oliver, Peanut, Bella, and me on the porch of a kind lady who lived in an apartment complex. This Good Samaritan took good care of Momma and us until we were weaned when we were five weeks old, and then Foster Meowmy brought all of us, including Momma, to the safe haven of her home. Momma was spayed and released back into her cat community, and we kits certainly appreciate our new carefree indoor life! We have plenty of open space to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we're exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.

Now I’m ready to fiddle with YOUR hair and be the Marco Polo of YOUR domain. Arrange to meet me today! Although we’re available separately, please consider adopting me with my bonded brother Oliver or another of the #tabby-IV-pack so we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation!

DOB 3/23/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Leroy, a sweet, friendly, and playful gray tabby fella with white tuxedo markings. I’m the most outgoing of the #microwave-box-litter, which also consists of my four sisters Lacy, Libby, Lucy, and Loo Loo. We got our #name because someone left us in a microwave oven box on the doorstep of Foster Meowmy’s vet.

I enjoy swiping at the turkey-feather wand toy as Foster Meowmy waves it over my head as well as batting the ball as it rolls around the turbo toy’s track. Of course, my sisters and I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now I’m ready to bring my winsome friendliness and kinetic energy to enliven my forever home. Could that be yours? Arrange to meet me today! I promise that you’ll fall head over paws in love with me. Incidentally, although we’re available separately, it’d be the cat’s meow if you adopted me with another kitten in the #microwave-box-litter so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Lettuce #brother-of-Cabbage

AFFECTIONATE KING OF PURRING

DOB 3/20/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Lettuce, a friendly, outgoing, and cuddly “bicolor” guy who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my back, face, and tail. I’m known as the little king of purring! No matter what I’m doing, I seem to always have my purr motor turned on high! What else do you expect from a happy-go-lucky fella like me? By the way, I’m quite a vocal boy who likes to meow as I follow Foster Meowmy around the house.

I’m affectionate through-and-through, so I often seek out Foster Meowmy for attention and cuddles. There’s nothing I like better than spending quality time lying on Foster Meowmy’s chest or snuggling next to her thigh while we binge on Animal Planet or Netflix together. If she’s sitting on the floor, I quickly crawl up so I can contentedly curl up in her lap.

My brother Cabbage and I were born to a feral momma who lived in Foster Meowmy’s back yard.

Cabbage and I assimilated easily into the family, which includes a sassy cat-friendly Chihuahua.

Now I’m ready to bring my abundance of affection and happy-go-lucky disposition to bless my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I just might let you guess the decibels of my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. Until I’m four months old, I really need another kitty in the house to keep me company. Who’s a better candidate than Cabbage? Although we’re available separately, we think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

RESTS HER HEAD AGAINST YOU TO LISTEN TO YOUR HEARTBEAT

DOB 3/23/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Libby, a sweet, beautiful, and cuddly tabico (tabby-calico) gal who’s one of the #microwave-box-litter, which also consists of my four siblings Leroy, Lacy, Lucy, and Loo Loo. I look a lot like Lacy except that I have a smudge of white over my left eye. We got our #name because someone left us in a microwave oven box on the doorstep of Foster Meowmy’s vet. When Foster Meowmy lovingly hugs me, I like to rest my chest against hers so that I can listen to her heartbeat.

I started out by being the runt of the litter, but my hearty appetite is helping me to catch up quickly with my siblings!  I’m no couch potato! No siree! I enjoy swiping at the turkey-feather wand toy as Foster Meowmy waves it over my head as well as batting the ball as it rolls around the turbo toy’s track. Of course, my siblings and I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.

Now I’m ready to bring my beautiful, snuggly, and playful self to sprinkle love and laughter in my forever home. Could that be yours? Perhaps you need a furry little nurse to listen to your pulse several times a day? Arrange to meet me today! I promise that we’ll fall head over paws in love with each other the instant that we meet! Lily #resilient-sweetheart

You are here:

SOFT HEART, FULL OF LOVE, DESPITE HER PAST

DOB 10/12/23

Hey there, everyone! I’m Lily, a sweet, gentle, and  loving brown tabby girl with a delightfully “grouchy” face that gives the iconic internet celebrity Grumpy Cat a run for her money. I absolutely adore Foster Meowmy, especially when she gently scratches my cheeks, chin, and ears, and it’s my privilege to be her calm, quiet companion.

You see, I’ll always be grateful to Foster Meowmy, who rescued me from a crowded outdoor event where people were kicking me and almost running over me with their bikes. Thank heavens she took me to the safe haven of her home, and I can’t tell you how thankful I was that I’d landed in a calm, comforting environment. Foster Meowmy did her due diligence and traced my microchip to the previous owner who had adopted me but, after he was evicted, dumped me in the park and didn’t want me back.

Each day I bloom a little more because I have the satisfaction of knowing that my past difficulty, loss, and change are all behind me and a bright future, full of kindness, lies ahead. Despite all that I’ve endured, Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday because my heart remains soft and full of love.

Now I’m ready to bring my gentle serenity and calm companionship to my loving future family whose hearts have been touched by my past abandonment and who will cherish me forever. For my part, I’m unbelievably resilient, so I’m not looking back at my past mistreatment and rejection but ahead to the beautiful life destined for me, where I’ll be “home for good.” Yes, I’ve endured more than any cat ever should, but I’m ready to give my heart to a family who enthusiastically believes in second chances.

PEACEFUL, NURTURING SPIRIT

DOB 3/31/20

Hey there, everyone! I’m Lily, a very sweet, loving, calm, and gentle brown tabby gal who loves to be petted and who seeks out my foster hooman family when I want their love. There’s nothing like getting my “affection fix” when someone scratches my ears, chin, and ears. I’ll always be grateful that Foster Meowmy took me in, along with my five kittens, when a friend found us in her neighborhood.  I was a super nurturing momma and even adopted a tiny unweaned orphan kitten when he joined our foster home.

I fit in nicely with the resident adult cats and foster kittens. Although I get along with the family dog, I get understandably scared when she barks. Now that I’ve permanently retired from motherhood, I’m ready to devote my time to loving and nurturing my forever hooman family in their hopefully quiet, peaceful home. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! By the way, there are advantages to adopting a gal like me who’s past the stage of kitten frenzy. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

RESCUED AS TINY ORPHAN, COVERED IN LEAVES & STICKS

DOB 4/7/22

Hello everyone! I’m Little Bobbie, and I’m an adorable, petite dilute gray tabby with white mittens and locket. Don’t you love my sweet, angelic face? I was a two-week-old orphan, covered in leaves and sticks, when I was rescued from a field. Neighbors had witnessed dogs chasing away my momma; alas, she never re-appeared. Several cat lovers took me inside and bottle-fed me along with several other bottle-babies who were my same age.

I have so much fun playing with my surrogate siblings. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re exhausted from all the fun, we collapse in a kitten puddle. The three resident cats have acted as my surrogate aunts and uncles who have taught me everything my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around. I also get along great with the two big dogs in my foster home, so there are a lot of households where I would fit like a glove.

Although we’re available separately, my foster mate Tango and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

LOVES TO PLAY HIDE AND SEEK IN CAT TREE CUBBYHOLES

DOB 5/1/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Little Turkey, a sweet, loving, playful, and curious Classic brown tabby gal who has intriguing marble swirls on my sides instead ot the usual mackerel tabby stripes. I love to explore and be the first to try a new toy. I was initially shy when I arrived at my foster home and was reluctant for Foster Meowmy to pick me up. Now that she has earned my trust with her patience and consistency, I absolutely adore snuggling in her arms.

My brothers, Sushi and Porkchop, and I were christened the #buffet-bunch because we followed our feral momma across the street to chow down at a community cat feeding station. We were about three months old when our foster meowmy scooped us up and brought us to the safe haven of our foster home so that we didn’t need to fend for ourselves any more. I got my name Little Turkey because I was the smallest and the only girl in my litter. I can proudly boast that girls are smarter than boys because I outwitted the HOPE volunteers who were trying to rescue us and was the last of the #buffet-bunch to be captured.

We love the soft beds, wand toys, crinkle balls, catnip mice, and brimming food/water bowls that go along with indoor life. These amenities make us feel like we’re living in a five-star hotel compared to the hardscrabble life of a stray. Our carefree life consists of tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other. I particularly like playing on the cat tree, whether it is chasing my brothers up and down the poles and ledges or playing hide and seek in the cubbyholes. When we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. What a bright future we have ahead of us as pampered kittens in loving homes!

Speaking of forever homes – now I’m ready to bring my inquisitiveness and kitten playfulness to my new family. Could that be your family? Consider adopting me with one of my siblings so we can be cuddle buddies and playmates while you are at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today!

HEARTWARMING RESCUE STORY

DOB 8/26/22

Hey there, everyone! I'm Lollis, a very affectionate, delightful, playful “torbie” gal which means that I'm a brown tabby with patches of peach that makes me look like I was splashed with caramel in a candy factory. I can't get enough time to spend with Foster Meowmy, so I sleep with her and am always asking her for cuddles, especially when I don't have to compete with the resident cats for her attention. Although my independent, freedom-loving spirit has proven helpful in dealing “as needed” with the dogs and other cats in my foster home, my innate friskiness has made me a perfect companion for kids.  When playtime is over, I enjoy it when the kids give me a rousing belly rub.

I’ve been very bonded to Foster Meowmy ever since she spotted me at her jobsite as a seven-month-old stray kitten who had no momma or siblings in sight. Realizing that Foster Meowmy was my ticket to a life that was better than dumpster diving, I wasted no time and ran up to her. She scooped me up and drove home with me cuddled in her lap. Yes, our special connection began on that unforgettable journey. To this day, in those cherished moments when I need a little snuggle, it’s Foster Meowmy to whom I turn when I seek cuddling.

I hope that my heartwarming rescue story has touched your heart. Yes, I chose Foster Meowmy, and now it's time for you to choose me to be your next feline companion. I want to become an integral part of your life and make every day an adventure worth sharing. Arrange to meet me today, and let's form a bond that's unbreakable! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a gal like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your family heirlooms.

HEAD-BUMPS TO BEG FOR PETS

DOB 4/9/21

Hey there, everyone! I’m Lu, a sweet and affectionate “Velcro” tortoiseshell gal who likes to stick close to my Foster Meowmy 24/7 so I can soak up as much affection as I can garner. This could be “bunting” (head-bumping) Foster Meowmy to get her attention, snuggling next to her while she’s in bed, or supervising her cooking in the kitchen. (Any treats up there for me?) My favorite pastime is lounging in Foster Meowmy’s lap as she scratches my chin, cheeks, and chin while we leisurely binge on Animal Planet and Netflix. Although I admittedly beg for her to pet me, like many kitties, I let her know if the hugging and kissing get out of hand – my terms are that a little goes a long way.

I was very pregnant when Foster Meowmy rescued me from the community cat feeding station near her apartment complex. Thank heavens she brought me into the safe haven of her home so that my six kittens were born in foster care a few weeks later. I’ve come a long way since my arrival as a timid teenage momma to be Foster Meowmy’s whiskered shadow, and now I’m ready to become the adoring constant companion of my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I have so much love to give – all I need is YOU! Incidentally, adopting a gal like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem has its advantages. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

DILUTE TORTIE DIVA WITH A TYPICAL TORTITUDE

DOB 3/23/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Lucy, a bold, beautiful, and sassy dilute tortoiseshell gal with typical “tortitude” traits. I’m one of the #microwave-box-litter, which also consists of my four siblings Leroy, Lacy, Libby, and Loo Loo. We got our #name because someone left us in a microwave oven box on the doorstep of Foster Meowmy’s vet.

I’m a loving, affectionate girl who’s a little hesitant when Foster Meowmy first picks me up. However, once I settle into her embrace, I snuggle in to see what new things she has in store for me. I’m always delighted when it’s Temptation treats as well as a few chin or cheek scratches. I’m no couch potato! No siree! I love to play with my toys, and I’m a little tomboy when I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings -- before we collapse in a kitten puddle upon exhaustion.

Now I’m ready to bring my feisty, spirited, and loving “tortitude to reign as the pastel Queen Diva in my forever home. Could that be yours? Arrange to meet me today! Let’s write a new chapter in our lives together! Incidentally, although we’re available separately, it’d be the cat’s meow if you adopted me with another kitten in the #microwave-box-litter so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

LOVES TO DISPLAY HER SPOTTED TUMMY

DOB 1/26/26

Hey there, everyone! I am Lulu, a petite, gentle, playful “torbie” gal who is a delightful mixture of brown tabby with patches of orange tabby as well as white. Who could say that I am anything but adorable with my pointed ears, big eyes, and milk-dipped moustache? I often stretch out with my belly up to display my spotted tummy. But I am no couch potato! I love to chase around my jingle-bell balls as well as be included in all of Foster Meowmy’s daily activities.

My momma Nelly was a six-month-old teenager when she birthed my litter of four kittens in the apartment complex where Foster Meowmy lives. That is what happens when owners do not get their young pets spayed and then dump them outside when they move out of their apartment. Actually, Nelly actively sought Foster Meowmy’s help when she sensed that Meowmy loved cats, and it was a literal miracle that she scooped us all up and brought us to the safe haven of her home.

Now I am ready to share all my love and curiosities with my forever family. Could that be you? Although we are available separately, Nikki and I think that it would be the cat's meow if we could be adopted together. We could me playmates and cuddle buddies when you  are gone from home. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart!

LOOKIN' FOR LOVE IN ALL THE RIGHT PLACES

DOB 6/15/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Luna, a very affectionate, friendly, and beautiful pastel greyish taupe tabby gal with giant olive eyes who begs Foster Meowmy to kiss me, to scratch my cheeks and chin, as well as to gently stroke my back. I’m so calm and loving that she’s more than happy to oblige. I’m no couch potato, though! No siree! I love to play with the plethora of toys that Foster Meowmy provides, and – guess what? – I even like to play with her foster kittens as well as her resident cats and dogs because they’re all friendly!

I’ve had a rough start in my young life. When I was barely a year old, my original family was evicted from their apartment and took the dog with them but dumped me outside. Thankfully a Good Samaritan who feeds a colony of community cats there noticed how friendly I was when I showed up at his feeding station. He started petting me and immediately decided that Foster Meowmy was just the person to bring me to the safe haven of her home. Boy howdy! I was delighted to be delivered from the hardscrabble life of a stray!

Foster Meowmy has whispered in my ear that she’ll find a caring family who will cherish me and who will NEVER even consider abandoning me! Now that I’ve been spayed and fully vetted, I’m looking for love in all the RIGHT places. Could it be in your home that I find the love and stability that I deserve? If so, I’m ready to bring my winsome friendliness and calm affection to bless your family. It’d be perfect if you have other cats and dogs -- and maybe even kids -- who will play with me and love me as much as my hooman pawrents do. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

HER COY BEHAVIOR CAN BE AS CHANGEABLE AS THE MOON

DOB 5/2/24

Hey there, everyone! I’m Luna, the adorable tortoiseshell gal with a typical sassy “tortitude.” I’m a girl of dichotomies – I’m very calm most of the time – until I burst out with playful energy. I love to be petted – until I’ve been handled too long. I used to like grooming my two kittens – until I want to be alone for a nap in the bathroom sink. You get the picture.

I was only ten months old when my kittens were born in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. My little family was found under a house when my babies were about three months old. Foster Meowmy’s the neighborhood cat lady, so it made sense that she brought all of us to the safe haven of her home. I was a great teenage momma, but I have to say that I’m relieved that I’m permanently retired from doting motherhood.

Now I’m ready to bring my youthful energy and paradoxical opinions – all part of my “tortitude” – to spice up the life of my new family. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me! I’ll show you how sweet I can be when you scratch my cheeks, chin, and ears – and then jump up to chase the feathered wand toy when you whirl it in the air and wiggle it around the room. I think you’ll like it that I’m always full of surprises.

LOVES TO LICK HANDS AND FEET

DOB 8/16/22

Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Magic, a very quiet, gentle, and sweet gal who’s very uniquely colored because I’m what’s called a “smoke tuxedo.” This means that I’ve got the usual tuxedo markings of a white bib, chin, mittens, and belly, but my black fur has white roots, which can only be seen when my hair follicles are parted. I’m a princess who’s ravishingly beautiful, if I do say so myself. Plus I’ve got an adorable penchant for licking people’s hands and feet, and I love to nap in the sun.

My momma was heavily pregnant outside a country Dollar Store in the middle of nowhere when she was rescued by a HOPE volunteer. Just in the nick of time because my litter was born a few days after momma arrived in our foster home! My brother Max and I were adopted as kittens through HOPE, but unfortunately our family returned us through no fault of our own. So here I am an beautiful, adorable adult kitty who needs a new home.

Sometimes I can be a little quiet and shy because I’ve been a bit disrupted by being juggled among several homes. I’d do best if I were adopted into a quiet home without dogs, other cats, or young children. Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a girl like me who's past the stage of kitten mayhem. I'm much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

LOVES TO SLEEP IN BED WITH HIS FOSTER MEOWMY

DOB 3/21/26

Hey there, everyone! I am Marmalade, a very sweet, affectionate, and easygoing red “bicolor” fella who is mostly white with red tabby on my sides, head, and tail. I just love to sleep in bed with Foster Meowmy as well as to gobble up Temptations when she doles them out to me.

My stray momma birthed my four siblings and me in the Heights, where a nice HOPE volunteer rescued us when we were two weeks old and brought all of us, including Momma, to the safe haven of our foster home. I spend many of my waking hours tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with Pumpkin, Socks, Sprint, and Bella. I’m the largest of my #Heights-quintet litter, so I usually win, even though, fortunately for them, I’m not aggressive at all. When we’re exhausted from out rowdy play, we collapse in a kitten puddle to recharge our batteries. I love to explore, and on one of my first expeditions I discovered the two resident cat-friendly dogs. Although we are not big buddies, we co-exist, which means that we mostly ignore each other.

Now I’m ready to bring my handsome Classic tabby swirled markings as well as my winsome friendliness to grace my forever home. Could that be you? Although we are available separately, please consider adopting me along with one of the #Heights-quintet. Two is more fun than one, and we could be playmates and cuddle buddies when you are not home. Arrange to meet me today! Just like a swirl of yummy marmalade on your morning toast, I’m just what you need to put a little zest into your otherwise bland day.

HOPE ID 25-0516-C037

Marmalade’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

Mars #bonded-to-Neptune

You are here:

OBSESSED WITH "BUM-BONGOS"

DOB 4/1/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Mars, an exquisitely beautiful, golden-eyed “harlequin” gal, which means that I’m mostly snowy white with large patches of black on my sides. Foster Meowmy calls me “the best cuddle bug” who is obsessed with “bum bongos.” In case you don’t know, that means I like for her to pretend that she’s playing the bongos on my back near my tail. Boy howdy! Does that feel good, even though it’s admittedly quirky. We have this little ritual every morning -- when she sits down on the sofa with her coffee, I come running from my favorite napping hidey-hole under a cushion on the other end of the sofa – to greet her and to ask her for “bum bongos” as well as a few chin, ear, or cheek scratches.

When I was about eight weeks old, my feral momma brought me with her to Foster Meowmy’s front-porch community-cat feeding station. Foster Meowmy gradually worked on socializing me for about two weeks, and I progressed from running away when the door opened, to trusting her as a food source, to allowing her to scratch my sweet spots. To my surprise, one day she grabbed me when I wasn’t looking and brought me inside. She soothed my lonely cries for my momma by wrapping me in a “purrito” and cuddling me to her chest all day and night. That was the moment of my conversion to be her best cuddle bug, then and there! Within a few days, I ventured out from under her bed blankets and explored her bedroom.

Then about a week later, Foster Meowmy introduced Neptune to me. He was another solo kitten -- almost my same age -- whom my feral momma had again brought to Foster Meowmy’s front porch for meals. Unlike gradually socializing him for two weeks like she did me, after two days Foster Meowmy had grabbed him and brought him inside. Neptune and I became fast friends, playmates, and cuddle buddies – as if we’d always known each other. Since he was so skittish of hoomans, I became his emotional-support sister and eventually convinced him that he could be comfortable with Foster Meowmy’s affectionate scratches.

When I need my space away from Neptune, I enjoy playing with and chewing on feathered wand toys. I love watching “kitty TV” from the window perch, where I become fixated on any wildlife that crawls, flies, or scampers by. I’m still getting adjusted to the plethora of resident and foster cats. I’m relatively timid, so if one hisses, I hiss back. If one is neutral to me, I’m neutral back. I get my “psychic distance” from them by observing them from the top of the cat tree or a tall cabinet, and I’ve made “nose-to-nose” friends with one other kitty beside Neptune.

Now I’m ready to grace my forever family with my stunning good looks and finesse as a cuddle queen. Could that be you? Foster Meowmy thinks I’d do best with an experienced adopter who understands my unique temperament. I can still be skittish and run away if someone makes a quick movement or approaches me too quickly. I guess you could say that I’m like a butterfly who flies away if you try to net her but alights on your shoulder when she feels safe and comfy. In case you’re in the market for a pair of young cats, Neptune and I think it would be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together, although we're available separately. Two is more fun anyway! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to mesmerize you with my gorgeous copper-penny eyes.

HER MOTTO IS LOVE IN ACTION!

DOB 2/26/26 (pretty cool birthdate!)

Hey there, everyone! I’m Mary, an outgoing, affectionate, cuddly, and playful gal who’s just one of the identical brown tabbies in the #winsome-fivesome litter. There’s nothing I like better than cuddling next to Foster Meowmy and turning my purr motor on high. If we’re watching TV, she may have to turn up the TV volume because my loud purring sounds like a speed boat. But I’m no couch potato! No siree! You should see me jump like a dolphin as I flip and turn to catch the toy on the end of the fishing pole that Foster Meowmy waves over my head. Maybe I should train for gymnastics in the Kitten Olympics! I’m a whiz at climbing to the top of high places like the cat tree. Plus I’ve got a curious streak and a real spirit for adventure, so I utilize my feline stealth as I explore new places around the house with my siblings.

Sure enough --- Joshua, Caleb, Andrew, Martha, and I were born five weeks later!

Now I’m ready to display my perfect balance of devoted affection and playful energy to my forever family. Although I’m available separately as long as there’s another kitty in your home, it’d be the cat’s meow if you adopted me with one of my siblings. Two is more fun for you, and we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! You can experience for yourself why my motto is “Love in action!”

SOAKS UP HOOMAN COMPANIONSHIP

DOB 3/15/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m May, a fun-loving, curious, and playful brown tabby gal who loves hooman companionship and all the accompanying stroking and gentle massages. I’m full of personality, which includes – true confessions – being feisty and having a cat-itude at times. No worries – it’s like I’m a tortie on the inside with a brown tabby coat on the outside. If you’ve had cats before, you’ll get the picture.

A Good Samaritan rescued me, along with my feral momma and my sister April, from an apartment complex where we were living paw-to-mouth. Realizing that April and I were friendly, Foster Meowmy agreed to bring us into the safe haven of her home and help us find forever homes. I’ve been delighted that she’s introduced me to the amenities of indoor life, which includes Churus squeezable treats, catnip, and soft kitty beds! Once inside, my favorite pastime has been playing with April.

Now I’m ready to bring my personality-plus to my forever hooman companion in exchange for scratches on my ear, chin, and cheeks. What a bargain, huh? Arrange to meet me today! Let’s write a new chapter in our lives together!

LOVES TO BE PICKED UP & CUDDLED

DOB 3/30/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Meg, a very affectionate, outgoing, and snuggly silver/black tabby gal, and just between you and me, Foster Meowmy thinks I’m “perfect.” That’s because I lovingly seek her out so she’ll pick me up and cuddle me. I guess you know that not many kitties LIKE to be picked up, but I surely do! But don’t worry -- I’m not clingy at all. I like exploring on my own outside my room as well as tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with Beth, Amy, and Jo, a.k.a. the #Little-Women-litter. When we’re exhausted, we like to scale the cat tree and snooze in a kitten puddle at the top.

And  I can entertain you too – just watch me be mesmerized by the tower of balls as well as play soccer with jingle-bell balls all over the room. Although we’re available separately, I’m especially bonded with Beth, and we think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. That way we could be energetic playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. ALL SHE WANTS IS TO LOVE AND BE LOVED

DOB 8/15/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Micha, an outgoing yet gentle, affectionate, and cuddly brown tabby Maine Coon mix gal with a fluffy tail who loves being close to Foster Meowmy so I can soak up all of her strokes on my back and scratches on my ears. My heart's desire is very simple – someone for me to love and someone to love me back. That’s what makes my world go round.

Foster Meowmy testifies that I love with an intensity that only a rescued kitty can love. You see, Meowmy found my sister Noche and me as friendly 10-month-old strays who were wandering around in her apartment complex. We were trying to survive after our owner left us behind when she moved out. I recently heard Meowmy tell someone, “From the very first day that I found beautiful Micha, I saw something incredibly special about her.” Even though my owner had discarded me like trash, I was still amazingly trusting and loving toward hoomans. As Meowmy scooped Noche and me up to take us to the safe haven of her home, she whispered in my ear that she would find me the forever family whom I truly deserve. And I believe her!!

Now I’m ready to bring my sweet, gentle personality, loyal love, and endless purrs to that forever family. Foster Meowmy says that I am so well-adjusted that I will easily fit into a home with kids, other cats, and even dogs! Unlike my past hooman, will you hold up your end of the bargain by cherishing me as your beloved companion and by keeping me safe like I deserve? Arrange to meet me today! I know that my big, green eyes will captivate your heart the moment our eyes meet.

YUMMY FOOD WAS THE KEY TO HER HEART

DOB 10/3/24

Hey there, everyone! I’m Michi-Michi, who’s as sweet as the incredible cookies at San Diego’s famous Michi-Michi Bakery! I’m a gentle, loving, affectionate, and cuddly tuxedo gal who luxuriates in any affection that Foster Meowmy has time to bestow on me. I especially like it when she scratches my ears, chin, and cheeks. A loving lap cat, I enjoy when we exchange face kisses as well as stories about how our day has been going.

Although I’m usually pretty low-energy, I do enjoy playtimes, especially when Foster Meowmy interacts with me using the wand toy or entices me with strings to chase. When she’s not around so we can snuggle and binge on Netflix or Animal Planet together, I’m entranced with YouTube cat videos of scampering squirrels or hopping birds as they feast before my eyes.

I used to belong to someone, but somehow we got separated. I can’t remember if I left the safety of my indoor home myself or if my former owner dumped me outside before moving away. I’ve repressed my early life, so it’s a blur. Anyway, when I was about ten months old, I started showing up as a shy, cautious stray who ran around on Foster Meowmy’s street. I had learned from the hard knocks of the hardscrabble life to be wary of getting too close to strangers, so I always evaded Foster Meowmy -- until she started leaving yummy food out for me. Even then, I waited until I knew she was inside before I slowly came over to gobble up my meal. I kept my distance, but I was always there, quietly watching from across the street.

All that changed one day when memories of trusting my past hooman caretaker jogged into my conscious, and I bravely approached this bestower of scrumptious meals to request her touch. Ah, the ecstasy! I was full of faith and love when I rolled over onto my back and invited her to rub my belly. Receiving the affection that I craved was a happy, emotional moment for me. It was the first day in the rest of my renewed life!

Now I’m ready to bestow my tender loving affection on my forever family. Could that be you? If you’re looking for a beautiful, young tuxedo gal to protect and cherish as you surround her with love, I readily volunteer! Arrange to meet me today!!

LOVES TO CUDDLE, PLAY, AND ENTERTAIN

DOB 5/18/22

Hey there, everyone! I’m Mikey, a sweet, friendly, curious, playful, and entertaining “bicolor,” which means that I'm mostly white with grey tabby on my head, back, and tail. I got my name from a 1972 Quaker Oaks “Mikey Likes It” commercial of a toddler who would “eat anything.” That’s me, and I’m not ashamed at all! There are cats starving in China, so no food should be tossed out!

You see, my family moved out of their apartment and left me behind to fend for myself outside. I’m a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, so I made the best of my situation. I enjoyed climbing trees, chasing squirrels, and following folks when they walked their dogs. I assumed that an open apartment door was an invitation for me to mosey on in, and everyone adored me. Only problem was, nobody wanted to adopt a stray cat, which is what I really wanted. So “I ate anything” until my future foster meowmy decided that she wanted to foster me until she could find me my forever home with a family who’d never abandon me again.

Here I am in my foster home, happy as a lark with the other kitties. I love to cuddle beside Foster Meowmy as we binge on Netflix and Animal Planet, and when she heads for bed, I curl up at her feet. And boy howdy! I love to entertain my hoomans when we interactively play with feather wand-toys and laser pointers as well as when I play soccer with my crinkle balls and catnip mice. I’d be a great kids’ playmate as long as they knew that I don’t like to be picked up.

Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

WINSOME AND DEBONAIR

DOB 4/20/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Miles, a super-friendly, outgoing, and loving grey and white tuxedo fella who is also handsomely debonair. In fact, I have a magnetism that makes me pretty irresistible. Maybe it’s my piercing eyes or my captivating smile.  I am very bonded to my sister Coco. Actually, she is extremely shy with hoomans, so I am the big brother who gives her the confidence she needs.

We were born to a feral momma at an apartment complex in west Houston that had an out-of-control problem with community cats. Fortunately a HOPE TNR volunteer caught us when we were very young and brought us to our wonderful foster home. We get along great with the two resident cats, who coach us on the manners our momma would’ve taught us if she were still around. Coco and I have a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other. It looks like a World Cup soccer match when we start batting crinkle balls and catnip mice around the room during our keep-away playtimes. When we’re exhausted from our frenetic activity, we collapse in a kitten puddle.

Now I’m ready to capture the hearts of my forever family with my winsome congeniality and swarthy good looks. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today!

SMART, SAVVY LEADER OF THE PACK

DOB 5/1/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Milly, a very sweet, sassy, and playful “tuxedo torbie” (tabby/tortoiseshell with a white vest and mittens) who loves to give Foster Meowmy kisses! Torbies look like fallen leaves because, whereas a tortoiseshell has black mixed with apricot patches, I have brown tabby mixed with orange tabby patches. The result is really quite colorful and striking -- especially when combined with my white tuxedo markings!

One cold, rainy night when my sister Rye and I were six weeks old, Foster Meowmy found us with no momma in sight as we cowered and shook, hiding underneath her air conditioner. We’d been fighting to survive the hardscrabble life, so needless to say, we were relieved when she brought us to the safe haven of her home. Although we were both initially overwhelmed to be in our new family environment, I emerged as the bold, savvy leader, and Rye as my shy follower. Foster Meowmy is an experienced cat lady who knew to allow us to warm up to her at our own pace, and sure enough, it wasn’t long before first I and then Rye realized that hoomans are the source of much love, attention, and yummy food/treats.

Rye and I spend our days tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re exhausted we collapse in a kitten puddle. I love interactive play sessions with Foster Meowmy as she swirls the wand toy over my head, and then I snuggle in her lap. Although I get along great with the male resident cat, my ideal home will be calm and without kids or female cats.

Now I’m ready to bring my sassy “torbie-tude” and kitten playfulness to spice up my forever family with joy and happiness. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! Although we’re available separately, Rye and I think it would be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. That way we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

MAKES BISCUITS IN RESPONSE TO SOFT WORDS IN HER EARS

DOB 1/1/24

Hey there, everyone! I am Mimi, a very sweet, calm, and gentle dilute tortoiseshell gal with white tuxedo markings who gladly displays my best biscuit-making talents whenever Foster Meowmy whispers sweet nothings in my ears. I have endeared myself to her with this delicate rhythm of my paws, but what else do you expect from a dainty, affectionate young lady like me? No wonder I was named after Mimi, the demure heroine of Puccini's "La Boheme."

When Foster Meowmy found me as a lonely stray who was dumpster-diving to survive the hardscrabble life, she thankfully brought me to the safe haven of her home. She soon realized that I was a lost or abandoned pet because I seamlessly transitioned to the indoor life as well as easily made friends with the resident kitties in my foster home.

When Foster Meowmy got me fully vetted, she discovered that I was positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV+), which I probably contracted from the deep bite wound from another cat. (Unlike Feline Leukemia, FIV is NOT passed on "casually" by sharing food bowls and litter boxes with other household cats.) Being FIV positive means that I should live an average life span even though my immune system is compromised.

Now I’m ready to provide a steady supply of biscuits in exchange for my forever family’s soft, encouraging whispers in my ears. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise that my calm, quiet companionship will bring down your blood pressure. And incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a gal like me who is past the stage of kitten mayhem. I will not cause any chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

Minnie Moo #love-machine

You are here:

HEART-SHAPED BLACK NOSE-TIP

DOB 4/25/23

I am Minnie Moo, a sweet and squeaky black-and-white cow cat with a heart-shaped black nose and the clearest, most wondrous green eyes you will ever see -- condensed into a “minnie” lovable package. I may be a bit shy at first, but once I trust you, I crave gentle affection and close companionship and moo-ve right into your heart. With a moo here and a meow there, I have a way of squeaking joy to ordinary moments. When not chatting with you, I luxuriate in all the pets you can give me and plop down to soak up the attention. Petting me is therapeutic – I can help you unwind and relax after a long day, all while happily purring.

Despite my absolute love for humans, you would never know I had my heart broken and abandoned by them. For nearly a year, an apartment maintenance manager fed and looked after me outside an apartment unit. It turns out that I had once belonged to a family who lived there, who cared enough about me at one point to have me spayed and microchipped. Unfortunately, they left me to fend for myself and fight off unwanted attention from other animals -- both cats and dogs alike. I waited there, day in and day out, hoping they would return to bring me back indoors, where I once felt safe and loved. Thankfully, HOPE volunteers stepped in and rescued me. I found a loving adopter and thought my happily-ever-after had arrived. Sadly, life presented my adopter with difficult challenges, and they made the heartbreaking decision to return me. None of this has been because of anything I did. I have simply been caught in circumstances beyond my control.

Because of my past experiences outdoors, I can be a bit cautious around other animals. But when it comes to people, my affection is infinite. My heart is still full of hope, and I know the third time will be the charm. I dream of a forever home where I can finally settle in, feel secure, and spend my days sharing my tiny squeaks, happy purrs, and gentle companionship. If you are looking for a sweet, low-key cow cat to chat about your day and keep you company, I am ready to write the next -- and best -- chapter of my story with you.

Miso #Japanese-litter

You are here:

DOB 3/15/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Miso, a very outgoing, friendly red tabby gal who loves to be held as well as to play until I “drop” for a nap wherever that happens to be. Did you know that it’s unusual for a cat to like to be held and for a red tabby to be a female like me? Well, you might say I’m an iconoclastic tomboy because I’m no stereotyped shy, fainthearted girl -- I love to meet new people and to fearlessly explore every nook and cranny around the house.

Foster Meowmy first encountered me in the PetSmart Pearland parking lot when she met a lady who was trying to give away my siblings, Mochi and Mango, and me for free. Knowing how vulnerable to danger we were if we ended up in the wrong hands, Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate and brought us to the safe haven of her home. We have so much fun living the carefree kitten life of tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I get along great with the other foster kittens and resident cats, and I’m still acclimating to the friendly dogs.

Now I’m ready to bring my friendly, loving personality to grace my forever home. Could that be you? Although we’re available separately, consider adopting me with Mochi or Mango. It’d be the cat’s meow if we could be energetic playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I’m sure that we’ll fall head over paws in love with each other the second we meet!

Missy Longstocking #docile-lapcat

You are here:

THE MARVELOUS MISS STOCKING

DOB 4/15/22

Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m very, very sweet, friendly, and curious Missy Longstocking, a sleek, elegant harlequin gal with big jade-globe eyes and who’s mostly white with large patches of dark gray. Foster Meowmy named me “Longstocking” because I’m tall with graceful legs that look to be wearing gray stockings. Meowmy is amazed that I don’t have one ounce of “catitiude,” and I heard her exclaiming that I’m the most docile cat she’s ever met.

Although I’m not a big fan of being picked up, I happily curl up in Foster Meowmy’s lap and turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. We then enjoy prime-time together as she gently brushes me or offers me squeezable treats. But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I adore interactive play as Foster Meowmy waves the fishing-wand toy over my head because I can show off my acrobatic prowess as I lunge and pounce on my “prey.”

I have quite a dangerous backstory. A Good Samaritan was driving down Beltway 8 when she spotted me, partially inside a bag, as I huddled in the median. Thank heavens that she’s not scared of much, so she pulled over and quickly grabbed me as cars whizzed by. When we got home, she saw that I was a little bruised, nicked, and scraped as well as very traumatized but overall healthy and uninjured.

I tolerate the other cats in my foster home, but I definitely don’t love them. I haven’t been around kids, but I was fine around a small, polite dog. Since I’m friendly and well-adjusted, I might be very compatible with well-behaved children and cat-friendly dogs.

If you’re searching for a beautifully marked lady-long-legs who looks like a thoroughbred racehorse, I’m your gal! Arrange to meet me so we can exchange warm cuddles and you can guess the decibels on my purr motor. Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a young kitty like me who's past the mayhem of kitten craziness. I'll cause less chaos in your home and not be as likely to break your treasured accessories.

SWEET TALKER

DOB 8/24/19

Well hello everyone! I’m Mothra, a smart, gregarious, curious brown tabby "princess" with white tuxedo markings. I was named after a giant flying moth that was a popular "heroic" monster in horror films. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share. I’m a “talker” who chirps and trills for everyone when I greet them, and then I plop down to receive a good belly rub.

I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids.

During Tropical Storm Imelda, my brother Godzilla and I, the #monster-duo, were found as orphan kittens with no momma in sight. Although I'm available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with Godzilla so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, chatty princess who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood, I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

SURE TO WIN YOUR HEART

DOB 3/1/21

Hey there, everyone! I’m Mr. Bean, a very sweet, very gentle, and affectionate tuxedo fella who gets along well with not only people but also other cats. Who doesn’t love a tuxedo because we each have our own unique markings? And I certainly am handsomely marked with my white lightning bolt running down my nose! I was named after the loveable buffoon in the British sitcom because I have the unique talent of transforming ordinary situations into comical ones.

A Good Samaritan first noticed me at the feeding station for her colony of community cats. I was a friendly stray, probably a lost or abandoned pet, who was in very poor condition. I did the best I could to compete for food, even though the existing cats didn’t welcome me. This compassionate lady networked until she found my HOPE foster meowmy, who agreed to bring me into the safe haven of her home and get me looking like the robust dude I used to be. Boy howdy! Was I relieved to get away from the hardscrabble life of fending for myself!

Admittedly I had a rough start, but now I’m thriving and ready to be my forever family’s loyal shadow and snuggle buddy. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who's beyond the stage of kitten mayhem. I'm much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

Ms Ethel #low-maintenance

SWEET MOMMA

DOB 5/1/23

Ms Ethel is a sweet mittened torbie who, although she prefers not to be picked up, will come over to you for petting and snuggling. Ms Ethel is a stately kitty who is independent and can go hours on end without needing humans. She's simply a low-maintenance kind of gal.

Ms Ethel was brought into HOPE when an elderly couple found her and her newborn babies in their backyard. Completely soaked and very hungry, the kitties needed immediate help. A foster stepped up and took in the forlorn family. Fast forward months later, and all the kitties have been adopted with only Momma left.

Can Ms Ethel bring her sweet, undemanding ways to take the bite out of your being alone? Or bring some quiet companionship after your long, hectic day at the office? If so, arrange to meet her so you can give her some much-appreciated scratches and snuggles. Just because she’s independent of humans doesn’t mean that she doesn't have something to give others. In fact, she has so much love to give – all she needs is YOU!

LOVES TO GIVE NOSE KISSES AND HEAD NUDGES

DOB 6/10/25

Hey there, everyone! I am Nelly, a friendly, affectionate, and outgoing calico gal with gorgeous swirls of bronze and black on my sides, striking green eyes, and a perfect rose-pink nose. What a beautiful package, if I do say so myself! But I am not just eye candy! So siree! I lovingly bestow nose kisses and head nudges as I snuggle in Foster Meowmy’s lap. In return, she scratches my ears, cheeks, and chin, and I exultantly luxuriate in her attention.

I was a six-month-old teenager when I birthed my litter of four kittens in the apartment complex where Foster Meowmy lives. That is what happens when owners do not get their young pets spayed and then dump them outside when they move out of their apartment. Actually, I actively sought Foster Meowmy’s help when I sensed that she loved cats, and it was a literal miracle that she scooped us all up and brought us to the safe haven of her home.

Since I am barely more than a kitten myself, I am saturated with kitten playfulness. You should see me bat jingle-bell balls around the room like a professional soccer striker! Now that I have permanently retired from doting motherhood, I am ready to put my beautiful, dainty face to work giving nose kisses and head nudges to my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

Neptune #bonded-to-Mars

You are here:

WANNA PLAY FETCH?

DOB 4/1/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Neptune, a handsome, playful brown tabby fella with white tuxedo markings on my chest, paws, and tummy. I love it when Foster Meowmy scratches my chin, ears, and cheeks as well as when she gives me “bum bongos.” In case you don’t know, that means I like for her to pretend that she’s playing the bongos on my back near my tail. Boy howdy! Does that feel good, even though it’s admittedly quirky. If I see Foster Meowmy giving my foster mate Mars “bum bongos,” you can bet that I’ll come running to get in on the action.

I love interactive games with Foster Meowmy -- like playing fetch, although I usually don’t return the toy but expect her to grab it. I also adore swatting the feathered wand toy when she teases me with it. When I need to entertain myself, I’m a regular soccer striker when I maneuver fuzzy balls all around the room. And I love to scale to the top of cat trees and scratchers and become king of the mountain!

When I was about ten weeks old, my feral “foster” cat-momma escorted me to Foster Meowmy’s front-porch community-cat feeding station. I’d never been around hoomans before, so I ran away every time Foster Meowmy opened the door. Imagine my surprise when, after feeding me for a few days, she grabbed me when I wasn’t looking and brought me – protesting vehemently -- inside. After I spent a week alone in a crate (hissing and cowering in a corner when she scooped my litter box), Foster Meowmy introduced me to Mars, another foster kitten almost my same age. We became fast friends, playmates, and cuddle buddies – as if we’d always known each other. Since I was so skittish of hoomans, Mars became my emotional-support sister and eventually convinced me that I could trust Foster Meowmy and occasionally allow her to scratch me affectionately. Thus began a new chapter in my life . . . and a whole new world of enrichment.

Thank heavens Foster Meowmy knew that I needed to seek her attention on my own accord, so she didn’t rush my socialization. If she approached me too quickly, I’d run away but soon come back to her when she called me in a baby voice. Whereas I’m not a lap cat and don’t like to be held, I adore the way Foster Meowmy plays the bongo on my bum, scratches my head, plays fetch with me, and waves the wand toy over my head to encourage my acrobatic lunges. We’re best friends who always share fun and games, which is right up my alley.

Now I’m ready to bless my forever family with my playful spirit and entertaining cavorting. Could that be you? I’m always ready to offer my body for your bongo-playing! In case you’re in the market for a pair of young cats, Mars and I think it would be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together, even though we're available separately. Two is more fun anyway! Arrange to meet me today! Just don’t expect for me to bring back the fuzzy toy that I’ve fetched!

STANDS ON HER HIND LEGS TO BATTLE THE WAND TOY

DOB 11/11/24

Hey there, everyone I’m Neytiri, a beautiful pastel-gray tabby with a hint of cream who has the heart of a true princess warrior, just like my Avatar namesake. I’m affectionate and love head massages and chin scratches. I bond closely with my chosen hooman, so be prepared to gain a furry little shadow. I’ll dash to greet you at the door -- so rest assured, you’ll never come home to an empty house. Once I choose you as my person, my loyalty is deep and sacred.

Outside of biscuit-making and petting sessions, playtime is my favorite thing. There is never a bad time to play! I’ll make you laugh as I stand on my two hind legs to engage in a royal battle with the wand toy. Just watch me soar comically through the air with impressive bounces to catch it mid-flight. Be sure to catch my wiggly-butt wind-up before a perfectly executed pounce.

While I love being near you and rubbing up against you, I don’t need attention all day. I’m perfectly happy to lounge in my cuddler bed as I peacefully watch the world go by. I’m low-maintenance, a little sassy, very fun, and I absolutely have a mind of my own. A true princess prefers her space –so I’d love to be your one and only cat.

My story started on the mean Houston streets when I hid under a broken car until a Good Samaritan began feeding me. Once I felt safe, I came right out to greet her and rubbed against her to say thank you. That joyful, grateful heart has stayed with me ever since. When I feel safe and loved, I give my whole heart back -- and you can truly feel how much I adore my people.

I may be a little cautious when meeting new folks, but gentle pets and tasty snacks help me warm up quickly. Once I do, I’m the sweetest, most devoted companion who’s always nearby, always loyal -- just like you’d expect of a princess who has truly chosen her person. If you’re looking for a playful, joyful, loyal girl with big hops, a bigger heart, and a lifelong bond to give, I’m ready to leap into your life and take my place right by your side.

NATURAL-BORN LEADER

DOB 1/26/26

Hey there, everyone! I am Nikki, a sweet, calm, yet adventurous “bicolor” gal who is mostly snow white with red tabby on my head, sides, and tail. I just love to sleep in Foster Meowmy’s bed with her after a rigorous day of exploring new things and observing my world from the highest perch that I can find. Even though I am a girl, my natural-born leadership skills have always outpaced those of my brothers. Even when I was only a month old, my adventurous spirit guided me to find new horizons and push the boundaries, and my littermates followed my lead.

Now I am ready to explore the new domain of my forever family. I have visions of surveying the new territory from the top of the cat tree and then falling asleep snuggled next to my hooman after an exhausting day of adventure. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise that we will fall head over paws in love with each other the second that we meet! Although we are available separately, Lulu and I think it would be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. We could be playmates and cuddle buddies whenever you are not home.

LOVES TO BE CARRIED AROUND

DOB 7/12/21

Are you looking for a uniquely marked tabby kitty who has small cheetah-like spots on his sides instead of the typical tabby stripes? Well I’m the man! Meow! Meow, everyone! I'm Noel, your perfect feline companion! I'm a very friendly, affectionate, loving, easygoing, and active cream-colored “spotted” tabby fella.

My foster mom calls me her favorite "lap cat" and her "bed buddy" because I love to snuggle. She rescued me as a baby who needed to be bottle-fed, so I love being carried around.  I live with cats and dogs, so I get along well with other cats and cat-friendly dogs.

Why am I a "special needs" kitty? I was recently diagnosed with diabetes insipidus, a rare, relatively harmless disorder that causes my body to make too much urine. It’s easily controlled with daily eye drops. However, I will need an experienced owner who can give me my drops every day and monitor my drinking as well as...um...my “output” in case the dosage needs to be adjusted by the vet. Easy peasy!

No reason for you to pass me by since I’m such a lovable and loving spotted guy. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give that all I need is YOU!

HOPE ID 21-0814-A050

Noel's $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

LOVES WHEN FOSTER MEOWMY KISSES HIS NOSE AND HOLDS HIM

DOB 4/2/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Oliver, an affectionate, rambunctious, and playful brown tabby fella who just loves it when Foster Meowmy kisses my face and holds me, although I’m careful with strangers until I’ve checked them out. My brother Leo is the leader of my litter, a.k.a. the #tabby-IV-pack, and Peanut, Bella, and I depend on him to show us exciting things to do and new places where we can run throughout our foster home. Leo and I have pretty much paired up naturally with each other, and I’m always an eager, willing follower as Leo trailblazes new adventures for me.

Our semi-feral momma birthed Leo, Peanut, Bella, and me on the porch of a kind lady who lived in an apartment complex. This Good Samaritan took good care of Momma and us until we could be weaned at five weeks old, and then Foster Meowmy brought all of us, including Momma, to the safe haven of her home. Momma was spayed and released back into her cat community, and we kits certainly appreciate our new carefree indoor life! We have plenty of open space to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we're exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I can entertain myself too by batting jingle-bell balls and catnip mice around the room as well as bunny-kicking my stuffed toys.

I’m ready to become the willing recipient of your kisses and hugs!  Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU! Although we’re available separately, please consider adopting me with my bonded brother Leo or another of the #tabby-IV-pack so we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation!

SWEET BUT SHY

DOB 8/21/20

Meow! Meow, everyone! My name is Otto, and I’m a sweet though shy brown tabby fella with white tuxedo markings. Don’t you love my white locket and four white mittens? I’m very sweet with my foster meowmy as well as the other cats in my foster home. I love and trust my foster meowmy when she pets and holds me. I even allow her to clip my claws.

When I was about a month old, my foster meowmy found my three siblings and me in an old abandoned car. After she got us all vetted and vaccinated, I was supposed to be adopted with my sister Zelda. When I arrived at my new home, I was my typical shy self because I was scared, so I found a hidey hole. Unfortunately the family didn’t give me the chance to settle in and warm up to my new surroundings, so I immediately went back to my foster meowmy.

I’m looking for forever adopters who will be patient with me as I warm up and feel comfy in my new “digs.” Ideally they will want to adopt me with one of my foster playmates whom I know well. Nothing like the moral support of a buddy to build my confidence in new situations!

Arrange to meet me today! There are advantages in adopting a cat who's past the stage of kitten mayhem. I'd be much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Paco #bold-adventurer

You are here:

RISK TAKER AND THRILL SEEKER

DOB 9/10/24

Hey there, everyone! I’m Paco, a bold, mischievous, energetic, and playful brown tabby fella who’s a risk taker and thrill seeker . . . the feline version of a hooman adventurer who’d like to fly in a rocket to outer space or sail solo around the world. So far I’ve just ventured on car rides with Foster Meowmy, and I was chill and quiet during the whole excursion. And I’m convinced that there are plenty of other exciting adventures ahead for me!

I need lots of mental stimulation as I’m a very active boy. Boredom is my worst enemy, but Foster Meowmy has that solved with tall towers and fuzzy balls that I can chase around the house. From the get-go I made sure to never hide my impish personality from Foster Meowmy. When she first met me, I plopped over and immediately started playing with her. Just like that, Foster Meowmy scooped me up and brought me home with her.

When I met the resident dogs, I realized quickly that I didn’t like them one bit. As far as the resident cats, they quickly realized that they didn’t like me one bit! That’s because I’m too much for them when we try to play together. Gentle I am not, and I like to do some biting in the midst of my roughhousing. I know not to play too rough with my hooman friends, but Foster Meowmy thinks I should steer clear of a home with kids.

My not being compatible with the resident pets doesn’t stop me from ruling the ground I walk on. I roam freely with not a care in the world while I venture off on my next escapade.

Now I’m ready to bring my reckless daredevilry and macho playfulness to my forever family. I need hoomans who are just as bold and adventurous as I am. Just think of the fun and excitement that we could share together! Just us -- because I’ve already explained why I should be an only pet-child. Oh the delight it will be when I’m the only one in the hearts of my new family! With a kid like me, who could ever need more? Arrange to meet me today!

MARCO POLO EXPLORER

DOB 12/1/24

Hey there, everyone! I’m Parker, a sweet, inquisitive, and handsome tuxedo fella who was rescued from under a motorhome as a two- month-old kitten with no momma or siblings in sight. Boy howdy! I’m relieved that Foster Meowmy took me into the safe haven of her home because I was much too young to fend for myself.

Because of my rough beginnings when I never felt safe, it takes me awhile to trust and warm up to hoomans. I do, however, love the companionship of the other foster kitties, and I’m not too shy to explore new places all around the house because it satisfies my curiosity.

Now I’m ready to bring my gentle demeanor and Marco Polo exploratory skills to my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today!

CHIRPS AND GIVES ESKIMO KISSES

DOB 3/5/24

Hey there, everyone! I’m Pawdrey Hepburn, a brown-tabby beauty with tufted ears who’s as spunky as I am sweet. Since I’m curious and confident, I like to keep tabs on Foster Meowmy by following her from room to room. I brighten her day by exchanging nose kisses and chirping while I play.

I inherited my sweet demeanor from my feline momma Bonita, who was found in Alief as a pregnant teenager. Fortunately she was rescued in time to deliver my litter of three in the safety of foster care. I’ve been handled by Foster Meowmy since I was one day old, which explains why I’m so very sociable and trusting with every hooman I meet. I’m so easy-going that even nail clipping is a breeze with me.

Now I’m ready to find my forever home. I love to climb and explore, so my forever home needs to be a place where I have the freedom to adventure and romp around. It would be great if my new home has kids, dogs, and other cats, as long as the four-legged critters and I are slowly introduced.  Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

NEVER MET A STRANGER

DOB 4/1/22

Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Peaches, a sweet, friendly, outgoing “bicolor” gal who has orange tabby on my head, tail, and back and white on the other half of my body. I love people and have never met a stranger. I guess you’d say that I’m an attention-hog because that’s what I seek from every hooman I meet.

I’m one of those few kitties who enjoys being carried around, especially when Foster Meowmy takes me to a new window to observe lizards, birds, and squirrels along with a few hoomans walking their dogs. Speaking of dogs, I haven’t ever been around them or small children, but I get along great with the other cats whom I’ve met.

I was a stray who was hanging around a shopping-center parking lot. I got lots of attention when I moseyed into a children’s clothing store to make some new friends. (I told you that I wasn’t shy with strangers.)

Fortunately a Good Samaritan had the sense to bring me to the near-by PetSmart that partners with HOPE, and Foster Meowmy graciously took me into her care. She thinks that I was someone’s pet since I’m so friendly but that I was purposely taken to the shopping center and abandoned. Perhaps inflation made it difficult for my family to afford my care.

Now I’m ready to find my forever home. I’m particularly looking for a loving family who will shower me with lots of special attention. I’m so laid-back with new people, cats, and situations that I might very likely fit into a household with dogs and kids. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me today!

And by the way, there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who's past the mischievous kitten stage. I'll be less likely to cause chaos and break your treasured accessories.

GETS RIGHT UP IN YOUR FACE TO ASK YOU TO PET HIM

DOB 4/2/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Peanut, an affectionate, rambunctious, and playful brown tabby fella who just loves to get right up in Foster Meowmy’s face to alert her that it’s time to pet me! I love her gentle strokes down my back or massaging scratches on my cheeks. My brother Leo is the leader of my litter, a.k.a. the #tabby-IV-pack, and Oliver, Bella, and I depend on him to show us exciting things to do and new places where we can run throughout our foster home. I act as second in command, so I’m always eager to find out what new adventure Leo is trailblazing for us. Shy Bella and I have pretty much paired up naturally with each other because, of her three brothers, I’m the patient one who helps her overcome any hesitancy she has to be daring or to meet new people.

Our semi-feral momma birthed Leo, Oliver, Bella, and me on the porch of a kind lady who lived in an apartment complex. I can entertain myself too by batting jingle-bell balls and catnip mice around the room as well as swiping at wand toys when Foster Meowmy waves them over my head.

I’m ready to stick my nose in your face so I can check out your petting techniques. Arrange to meet me today! I promise that we’ll fall head over paws with each other the minute that we meet! Although we’re available separately, please consider adopting me with my bonded sister Bella or another of the #tabby-IV-pack so we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation!

PURR MOTOR SOUNDS LIKE A PERKING COFFEEPOT

DOB 4/6/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Pepé, a gentle, affectionate, and playful “bicolor” fella whose front half is mostly white except for my black head, and whose back half is mostly black except for my white mittens and tummy. My coloring is really quite handsome and unique! Foster Meowmy has nicknamed me Pepito, and I heard her tell someone recently, “Pepito has the sweetest soul!” I am a curious little explorer who enjoys discovering new places and turning everyday moments into adventures.

My momma Noche birthed my brother Peluchín and me in the bushes of the apartment complex where Foster Meowmy lives. Peluchín and I were only a few days old when Meowmy found my little family brought all of us, including momma Noche, to the safe haven of her home. Peluchín and I have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I can entertain myself too by chasing jingle-bell balls, catnip mice, and the wand-toy if Foster Meowmy can snake it around the room for me.

I’ve grown up showered with love from both my mommies, but sometimes I can be a little shy when I meet visitors to the apartment. With their patience, however, I quickly warm up to the guests and turn on my purr motor when I start luxuriating in their gentle stroking and chin scratches. Now I’m ready to bring my gentle personality and loving nature to brighten my forever home. Could that be yours? If you’re looking for a loyal little friend with a big heart, I’m all ready to steal yours! Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, although we’re available separately, Peluchín and I think that it would be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Precious #antique-mall-litter

UNIQUE HARLEQUIN COLORATION

DOB 5/1/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Precious, a sweet, cuddly, and playful “harlequin” fella, which means that I’m mostly white with several large black patches on my head, body, and tail. I’ve also got a distinctive dark gray triangular blaze on my otherwise white nose. When I’m cuddled in my foster pawrents’ laps, I enjoy chit-chatting with them about how my day is going. I sleep with them at night, and I’m their little shadow during the day because I like to follow them around to keep up with their activities. I even rub my pheromones on their legs in case I think they’ve forgotten me. I enjoy playing interactively with my hoomans, especially when they wave the wand toy over my head. I also love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my four littermates.

When some houses in Spring Branch were torn down, many people left their pets behind when they moved away. Their cats ended up living at the used-car lot and the antique mall as friendly strays. Momma decided that inside a wall at the antique mall was a safe place to house my litter of five. It was an ideal den for us until the manager spotted her coming and going through a broken window. When our future foster meowmy, who has booths at the antique mall, heard that he wanted us out of our hidey-hole, she volunteered to remove us in the spirit of protecting us from harm. Despite Momma’s getting spooked and moving us, Foster Meowmy managed to find and capture all five of us, a few at a time, over a span of days. Tux, Spackle, Houdini, Taz, and I are so grateful that she took us to her home, which has much more plush accommodations than a tiny, dirty hidey-hole inside a wall!

Now I’m ready to be the cherished sweetheart, cuddly lap cat, and sleeping buddy of my forever family. Could that be you? Although I’m shy at first, I quickly warm up to new people once I feel comfy with them. Arrange to meet me today! In the words of Foster Meowmy, I’m “truly a sweet kitty.” Although we’re available separately, Taz and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if you adopted us together. That way we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or vacation.

Rosita #calm-bedfellow

HER GROUCHY FACE IS JUST A SHAM!

DOB: 11/10/24

Hey there, everyone! I’m Rosita, a sweet, calm, affectionate brown tabby gal who loves to be petted and to sleep with Foster Meowmy. Don’t let my perennially grumpy countenance fool you because I’m not ever angry – except when one of the older resident kitties goes overboard while asserting her "tortie-tude." Actually, I think that my usual downward head-tilt makes me look very coy!

Meowmy spotted me when I was a lonely orphan kitten amongst the colony of feral cats whom she feeds. Thinking that I wanted to stay unsocialized, she spayed me and, after I’d recovered from surgery, tried to release me. But once I’d enjoyed the amenities of indoor life, I wanted none of that hardscrabble outdoor life ever again! So I returned to Foster Meowmy’s door and begged to come back to her safe haven inside, and I’m so grateful that she obliged.

I have so much fun playing with the other foster kitties, although I’m perfectly fine leading a solitary life when I need a “time out” from all the feline rowdiness. Notwithstanding the fact that I luxuriate when Foster Meowmy scratches my chin, cheeks, and ears, I'm like a lot of kitties because I’m not fond of being picked up.

Now I’m ready to bring my serene disposition and adorably grouchy face to grace my forever home with joy and happiness. Could that be you? I can only imagine the sweet dreams we could have sleeping together should you decide to take me home with you! Arrange to meet me today!

HOPE ID 25-1108-A083

Rudy #brother-of-Rufus

You are here:

BIG HEART, QUIET DETERMINATION, AND WINNING WAY WITH PEOPLE

DOB 3/7/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Rudy, a curious, adventurous, and cuddly red tabby fella with white tuxedo markings who got my name because, just like the famous underdog in the movie “Rudy,” I prove that your heart matters more than anything. When I was younger, I tended to follow my siblings' lead while I figured things out, but, with a little encouragement and love, my confidence has grown. These days, I'm a snuggly, purring little guy -- and I think you'll find it's impossible not to cheer me on! I'm always aiming for the top -- whether that's the highest perch on the cat tree to watch birds and squirrels or the perfect spot to launch an impressive pounce on my favorite toy. You could say I'm always ready to "go long" for my next adventure!

I love tumbling and pouncing, chasing and wrestling with my siblings. Once the game is over and I've gotten my zoomies out of my system, I might act like I don't want to cuddle with Foster Meowmy. But she doesn’t let me fool her! Once I'm in her arms or curled up in her lap, my purr motor gets going, and I'm perfectly content soaking up all the pets and affection that she can dish out!

My momma Harlow birthed my litter as a friendly stray in an apartment complex where the delinquent kids shot BB's at us, but you’d never know it by the way I love. You see, a Good Samaritan rescued us and arranged for us to find a safe haven in our Foster Meowmy’s home. My heart was understandably a little cautious at first, but all I’ve experienced in my foster home is love, joy, kindness, and patience. I even enjoy hanging out with my foster family's 4-year-old son.

Like the movie's Rudy, I have a big heart, quiet determination, and a way of winning people over. Now I’m ready to share all these fine qualities with my forever home. Arrange to meet me today! You won't need an entire stadium chanting, "**Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!**" -- but don't be surprised if you catch yourself doing it anyway every time I do something adorable . . . or just because you can't resist my cute face and orange-and-white toe beans! Although we’re available separately, my twin brother Rufus and I think it would be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. That way we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

HOPE ID 26-0705-S014

Rudy’s’ $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

FEARLESS LEADER, CONFIDENT EXPLORER, AND CHAMPION CUDDLER

DOB 3/7/26

Hey there, everyone! I’m Rufus, an outgoing, energetic, and playful red tabby fella with white tuxedo markings who’s the fearless leader of my three siblings. I'm always the first to investigate a new toy, conquer the cat tree, or convince them that it's time to play. Once playtime is over, I might seem a little wiggly when Foster Meowmy first scoops me up, but my little purr motor starts almost instantly. Then I happily melt into her arms, soaking up every pet and cuddle, until I'm one big, contented puddle of orange fluff.

I might be a little cautious when meeting new people, but after the start my family had, I think that's understandable. You see, my momma Harlow birthed my litter as a friendly stray in an apartment complex where the delinquent kids shot BB's at   us. Thankfully a Good Samaritan rescued us and arranged for us to find a safe haven in our Foster Meowmy’s home. Now I love tumbling and pouncing, chasing and wrestling with my siblings. If there's an adventure to be had, chances are I'm already leading the way in an orange -- and a little clumsy -- fashion. I often climb to the very top of the cat tree so I can keep an eye on the birds and squirrels outside.

Now I’m ready to be the confident explorer, champion cuddler, and sweetest little leader that my forever home has ever seen. Could I be just the kitten you’ve been looking for? Then arrange to meet me! Remember that I could be a little tentative when we start getting acquainted, but give me a little encouragement, and my playful, affectionate personality will come shining through. Although we’re available separately, my twin brother Rudy and I think it would be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. That way we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

HER SOULFUL EYES DELIVER YOU FROM DAILY CHAOS

DOB 2/14/24

Hey there, everyone! I’m Rumi, an incredibly sweet, easygoing, and beautiful “tabico,” a.k.a. tabby-calico, gal with stunning colors that glow as if I were golden. Actually, I’m like any calico because I have large areas of white -- except I have brown tabby instead of the usual black. Peach patches are sprinkled over my tabby areas as if I’d gotten splattered with caramel in a candy factory.

My favorite thing in the world is simple – to be next to you. It could be the complete peace I feel while I make biscuits when watching TV with you. Or it could be when I curl up beside you to settle in for a cozy head massage or belly rub! I’m the kind of kitty who seems to understand when you need company. Whether you’ve had a long day or just want to relax with a soft, furry, comforting presence nearby, I’m happiest lying next to you, soaking up your love, and giving it right back to you.

You'll feel me affectionately weaving through your legs while you do chores, but I’m actually leaving my pheromones to mark you as mine. Although we will share an occasional wand-toy adventure together when the mood strikes, I’m basically a low-maintenance girl who knows not to demand your time and attention when you’re busy. I can entertain myself with window-patrol duty or cozy naps in soft beds. Plus I get along great with all ages of hoomans, including kids, as well as dogs; as far as other cats go, I tolerate them but prefer to be on my own.

My foster meowmy first saw me roaming in her neighborhood as a friendly stray. For a long time she fed me as she drove by but finally succumbed to my winsome personality by bringing me inside. Now I’m ready to be the beautiful soul who brings my comforting energy, affectionate cuddles, and peaceful presence to bless my forever family. Could that be you? Give me a chance, and I’ll help deliver you from the turmoil of the day.

DOB 9/15/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Rusty, a sweet, gentle, and friendly red tabby fella who has such an easygoing personality that I even purr when I eat. I love to show off my soccer skills as I bat pompom balls and toy mice around the room like a pro. Plus I get along great with the other kitties in my foster home.

When I was about three months old, I showed up at future Foster Meowmy’s community-cat feeding station. She quickly realized that I was a socialized kitten -- separated from my momma and/or hooman -- who was much too young to be fending for myself. So, thank heavens, she brought me into the safe haven of her home. Although I was initially a little overwhelmed and unsure, my food motivation overruled my timidity, and I quickly gained confident trust in Foster Meowmy when she lavished me with yummy food and Churus treats.

Unfortunately, the consequences of surviving the hardscrabble life at such a young age became a reality when I tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV+), which I probably contracted from the deep bite wound from an intact male cat. (Unlike Feline Leukemia, FIV is NOT passed on "casually" by sharing food bowls and litter boxes with other household cats.) Being FIV positive means that I should live an average life span as long as my dental health is routinely monitored and prompt attention is given to any urinary-tract or upper-respiratory infections.

Now I’m ready to bring my kitten playfulness, laid-back demeanor, and enthusiastic anticipation of Churus to my forever family. Could that be you? Are you ready to experience the delights of having a ginger-boy as your loving companion? Then arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

PETITE SIZE, BIG HEART, BEAUTIFUL SOUL

DOB 5/1/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Rye, a petite, talkative, and playful silver tabby gal who loves to lie ON my foster meowmy when we’re cuddling together. I have a white vest and mittens on my front paws to further enhance my glamorous allure. Despite my diminutive size, I have a big heart and a beautiful soul. I love interactive play sessions with Foster Meowmy as she swirls the wand toy over my head, and then I snuggle in her lap.

One cold, rainy night when my sister Milly and I were six weeks old, Foster Meowmy found us with no momma in sight as we cowered and shook, hiding underneath her air conditioner. We’d been fighting to survive the hardscrabble life, so needless to say, we were relieved when she brought us to the safe haven of her home.

Although we were both initially overwhelmed to be in our new family environment, Milly emerged as the bold, savvy leader, and I as her shy follower. Foster Meowmy is an experienced cat lady who knew to allow us to warm up to her at our own pace, and sure enough, it wasn’t long before first Milly and then I, following  her example, realized that hoomans are the source of much love, attention, and yummy food/treats. We spend our days tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re exhausted we collapse in a kitten puddle.

Now I’m ready to bring my chattiness, friskiness, and affinity for cuddling to bless my forever family with joy and happiness. Could you be the family to provide me with ample laps and plenty of playtimes? Arrange to meet me today! Although we’re available separately, Milly and I think it would be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. That way we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Silver #cuddle-queen

VERY AFFECTIONATE ONCE SHE GETS TO KNOW YOU

DOB 4/15/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Silver, an affectionate, gentle, and cuddly brown tabby gal who prefers the company of my foster pawrents to that of other cats, dogs, or kids. You see, I’m quiet and initially shy, but I transform into a very loving, people-oriented kitty once I get to know you. Loud noises like barking dogs and screaming children scare me, so when my foster pawrents are not around, I tend to be a loner who retreats to my cat tree as the best way to cope with commotion in my foster home.

A Good Samaritan was feeding a lot of us friendly cats who had been abandoned by our owners when they moved away from her apartment complex. Unfortunately, because this kind lady could not bring us all inside or pay to get us fixed, many residents were abusing the caterwauling intact males. Thank heavens this compassionate lady reached out to HOPE, and a team of feral-cat volunteers got involved in solving her dilemma. In hopes that our pregnancies could be avoided, our future foster meowmy rescued Sona, Ani, Zelda, and me by bringing us to the safe haven of her home.

Now that I’m permanently impervious to getting pregnant, I’m ready to ease right into the calm, nurturing environment of my forever home. Give me some time and space to feel comfy and safe, and I’ll be yours forever. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

KNOWS WHAT 'TREATS' AND 'PLAY' MEAN

DOB 2/14/24

Hey there, everyone! I'm Snow, a sweet, cuddly, and playful green-eyed “bicolor” gal, which means that I’m mostly white with gray tabby on my face, back, and tail. I love to snuggle with Foster Meowmy, but I also cherish time spent with all my hooman friends, especially when they play interactively with me or give me treats. Sometimes I’m a brave adventurer when I explore all the nooks and crannies in my foster home.

Foster Meowmy rescued the #spunky-four (a.k.a.me and my three siblings Tom, Luna, and Kisa) as orphans in her neighborhood. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.  I believe in magic, the magic of love and companionship. I'm ready to sprinkle my charm into your life. Adopt me, and together we'll write our own enchanting story. Arrange to meet me today!

VERY VOCAL WHEN IT'S CHOWTIME

DOB 3/21/26

Hey there, everyone! I am Socks, a very sweet, outgoing, and friendly “mitted” and "bibbed" brown tabby fella who just loves to hang out with Foster Meowmy in hopes that she will give me a snack. Although I am petite in size -- about 2/3 the size of my red-tabby brothers -- I am very vocal when it is chowtime. Even though I have a hearty appetite, do not worry about my blimping up because I remain slim and trim.

My stray momma birthed my four siblings and me in the Heights, where a nice HOPE volunteer rescued us when we were two weeks old and brought all of us, including Momma, to the safe haven of our foster home. I spend many of my waking hours tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with Marmalade, Pumpkin, Sprint, and Bella. When we are exhausted from out rowdy play, we collapse in a kitten puddle to recharge our batteries. I get along great with the resident cats and just ignore the two cat-friendly dogs.

Now I’m ready to bring my sweet, outgoing temperament to sprinkle love and laughter in my forever home. Could that be you? Although we are available separately, please consider adopting me along with one of the #Heights-quintet. Two is more fun than one, and we could be playmates and cuddle buddies when you are not home. Arrange to meet me today! I promise that I will knock your SOCKS off the minute that we are introduced!

FLIPS OUT WITH THE WAND TOY

DOB 4/15/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Sona, an affectionate, outgoing, and playful torbie girl who possesses excellent social skills simply because I love all ages of people. “Torbie” means that I’m mostly brown tabby with patches of orange that look like I’ve been splashed with caramel in a candy factory. I love to jump in the laps of my foster family so I can nuzzle them and give them nose kisses as well as chit-chat with them about how their day is going. In fact, I enjoy spending a lot of quality time cuddling and snoozing in their laps. But don’t think I’m a couch potato! No siree! You should see me jump and flip when I try to stab the wand toy when Foster Meowmy plays interactively with me. Also I can be high-octane when I chase the other foster kitties as we roughhouse together.

In hopes that our pregnancies could be avoided, our future foster meowmy rescued Silver, Ani, Zelda, and me by bringing us to the safe haven of her home.

Now that I’m permanently impervious to getting pregnant, I’m ready to shower my forever family with kisses and to display my acrobatic talents as the wand toy is waved over my head.  My ideal home can have other cats and kids but preferably no dogs. If you’re looking for a kitty who wants to give YOU lots of attention instead of selfishly demanding that you focus on pampering HER, then I’m the friendly gal for you!  Arrange to meet me today!

THE KING OF DOOR DASHING

DOB 3/21/26

Hey there, everyone! I am Sprint, a very sweet, outgoing, and fearless brown tabby fella who just loves to sleep in bed with Foster Meowmy. Even though I am the most petite of my litter, I am the most outgoing and active. I got my name because I am the King of Door Dashing. Whenever Foster Meowmy comes into the foster room, I am always the first to greet her at the door. Often before she can stop me, I dart out like lightning before she can stop me. I am a curious guy, so it is hog heaven when I can explore the world outside the foster room. No problem if I encounter new animals or situations. I am brave!

My stray momma birthed my four siblings and me in the Heights, where a nice HOPE volunteer rescued us when we were two weeks old and brought all of us, including Momma, to the safe haven of our foster home. I spend many of my waking hours tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with Marmalade, Pumpkin, Socks, and Bella. When we are exhausted from out rowdy play, we collapse in a kitten puddle to recharge our batteries. I get along great with the resident cats and just ignore the two cat-friendly dogs.

Now I am ready to display my inherent flare as I fearlessly investigate new people, animals, and situations in my forever home. Could that be yours? Although we are available separately, please consider adopting me along with one of the #Heights-quintet. Two is more fun than one, and we could be playmates and cuddle buddies when you are not home. Arrange to meet me today! Did you say you need a mouser? I cannot wait to prove that I am so fast that I could catch Looney Tunes’ Speedy Gonzales, “the fastest mouse in all Mexico.”

A VINTAGE GENTLEMAN

DOB 4/15/18

Meet Steele, a senior sweetheart with soulful eyes, a gentle heart, and so much love still left to give. This charming older boy has perfected the art of companionship — never demanding, never dramatic, just quietly devoted to the people he loves.

He’s the kind of cat who makes a house feel peaceful. His favorite pastime is stretching out in a warm sunbeam, soaking up every golden ray like it’s recharging his spirit. When he wants a little affection, he lets out the cutest raspy meow, a soft reminder that he’d really love some pets and company. And once you oblige, he’ll happily rub against your legs, grateful for every bit of attention.

Steele is wonderfully low-maintenance and easy to love. He isn’t looking for chaos or adventure — just a cozy home, a sunny window, and someone kind to share his days with. Although a senior, he still has plenty of life, affection, and companionship ahead of him. He’s proof that some of the very best cats only get sweeter with time.

Sweet Peach #bonded-to-Frankie

You are here:

LOVES TO BE HUGGED AND PETTED

DOB 5/2/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Sweet Peach, and my name is a flirtatious compliment that tells you what a genuinely pleasant personality I have. I’m a friendly, affectionate, curious, and playful orange tabby who’s female, which is unique because not many ginger tabbies are girls. I luxuriate when Foster Meowmy scratches my ears, cheeks, and chin, and I don’t even mind when she picks me up to hug and kiss me.

Foster Meowmy trapped my foster buddy Frankie and me because she thought we were feral kittens, but we ended up being friendly enough for her to keep us inside to try to socialize us instead of releasing us back outdoors after getting "fixed." Her efforts panned out, and we tamed up nicely after about a month. Although Frankie and I are not littermates, we are very bonded to each other. We both love to play interactively with Foster Meowmy when she waves the wand toy over our heads or wiggles it around the room like a snake for us to chase.

Now I’m ready to bless my forever family with my sweet, playful personality. Could that be you?  In some cultures, peaches are symbolic of happiness, longevity, good luck, and protection from evil. Now how could you lose if you permanently had your very own peach in the family? Arrange to meet me today! Although we’re available separately, consider adopting me with Frankie. Two is more fun than one, and we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Tango #bestie-of-Little-Bobbie

"MOST WONDERFUL OF KITTENS"

DOB 4/7/22

Howdy everyone! I’m Tango, a loving and mellow yet funny and lively red tabby fella with a warm personality and a great sense of humor. Foster Meowmy describes me as “the most wonderful of kittens who deserves an A+ home.”

Next to a pile of debris in the Lindale area, I was found in the street as an orphan with no momma in sight. I fit right into my foster home along with several other rescued kittens who were my same age. I have so much fun playing with my surrogate siblings. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re thoroughly exhausted from all the fun, we collapse in a kitten puddle.

The three resident cats acted as my surrogate aunts and uncles who taught me everything my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around. I also get along great with the two big dogs in my foster home, so there are a lot of households where I would fit like a glove.

Arrange to meet me today! You'll fall in love with me the second you meet me. I'm all ready to settle into my A+ new home! Although we’re available separately, my foster mate Little Bobbie and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. I’d be happy to give you an extra kiss because we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Taz #antique-mall-litter

You are here:

WANTS TO BE YOUR CONSTANT COMPANION

DOB 5/1/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Taz, and I’m a very friendly, loving, and lovable brown tabby fella with a white bib who just adores my foster pawrents. When I’m cuddled in their laps, I enjoy chit-chatting with them about how my day is going. I sleep with them at night, and I’m their little shadow during the day. I like to follow them around to keep up with their activities, and I even rub my pheromones on their legs in case I think they’ve forgotten me. I don’t mind at all if they pick me up so that they can shower me with kisses.

Tux, Spackle, Houdini, Precious, and I are so grateful that she took us to her home, which has much more plush accommodations than a tiny, dirty hidey-hole inside a wall!

Now I’m ready to bring my easygoing affection and personable companionship to my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU! Although we’re available separately, Precious and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if you adopted us together. That way we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Tilly #adventurous-aristocat

LOVES SNUGGLING, PETTING, & PAMPERING

DOB 9/9/23

Hey there, everyone! I’m Lady Matilda Catherine St. Gertrude, the Duchess of Silvester, a.k.a Tilly. I’m a sweet, friendly, easygoing brown tabby gal who likes to snuggle next to Foster Meowmy while we binge on Dr. Who episodes together on the sofa. Aside from when we clench our teeth during the thrilling sci-fi adventures, I luxuriate while Meowmy gently strokes my ears, cheeks, and chin. I also enjoy our pampering sessions when she brushes me while I’m relaxing on soft pillows.

You can tell from my long name and title that I was born an aristocat who had everything that a young kitty could want. Yet I had an adventurous and romantic heart, and once my eyes caught sight of the dashing rogue William Bones, Captain of the pirate ship Raccoon Chaser, I threw caution to the winds. I abandoned my life of luxury and set off with him on an adventure into the great unknown. Happy, brave, and carefree, Billy and I explored the world and discovered new sights and smells. We lived our best young cat lives – that is, until life in the wild presented several hardships.

Soon I found myself giving birth to three beautiful kittens underneath an old house. I was an exemplary mother in caring for my babies. I joined Billy by hunting mice and lizards to provide for food them. However, when we had to defend them from raccoons, I realized life in the wild was no place for such adorable kittens. When Chili, Chipotle, and Carolina Reaper were about two months old, my brave pirate lover led me to a kind human household, and soon all five of us were in the safe haven of our foster home. Instead of living paw-to-mouth, we discovered all the joys of eating from white china bowls that brim with food, climbing cat trees, and playing with toy mice. I’m completely content to stare out the window -- only to reminisce about my piratical adventures. I especially enjoy relaxing in my favorite forward-fold yoga pose.

Now I’m ready to bring my loving, relaxed temperament to grace my forever family. Could that be you? Full disclosure: as a noble lady, I only surround myself with cats and people whom I deem as excellent in character. And although I like other cats, I might need time to get acquainted with them. If you’re ready to welcome an aristocat into your heart and hearth, serve Churus on a silver spoon, and generously sprinkle catnip at my feet, I’m the girl for you! Arrange to meet me today!

THE RUNT OF THE LITTER WHO'S CATCHING UP FAST!

DOB 8/29/24

Hey there, everyone! I’m Tippy, a sweet, shy, petite “bicolor” gal with gigantic amber eyes. “Bicolor” means that I’m mostly white with cream tabby on my head, back, and tail. My sister Tulsa and I were born to a stray momma kitty in southwest Houston before HOPE volunteers got her fixed, and we’re the spitting image of our daddy, who’s also now fixed. I’m the smallest of my litter, but I’m catching up fast.

Although I’d spent my life outdoors, once I arrived at my foster home it didn’t take me long to start whizzing through cat tunnels, scampering up cat trees, and begging Foster Meowmy for Churus squeezable treats. Although I haven’t been around dogs or kids, I get along great with the other foster kitties. Now  I’m all ready to whiz thorugh tunnels and scale cat trees in my forever home. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me today!  I will do best with patient hoomans who will allow me to warm up to them at my own pace. Be prepared to have a large supply of Churus!

SNUGGLY SIESTA KING

DOB 4/15/23

If you think the actor Tom Sandoval looks like a hunk dressed in black, you should see me! Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Tom Sandoval’s namesake, an affectionate, saucy, friendly black DSH/Bombay mix kitten with a sleek, shiny coat. I can be quite the snuggly Siesta King who loves to curl up in bed with either Foster Meowmy or my sister Maddox, with whom I'm very bonded. I soak up any attention that Foster Meowmy gives me, especially when she’s dispensing Temptation treats.

I’m a playful guy who loves to play soccer with toy mice as well as engage with iPad games. And of course I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my three sisters, Maddox, Lala, and Katie. I can also entertain myself by scaling the cat tower and playing with its dangling toys.

When my Foster Meowmy was walking on her driveway one day, she spotted my feral momma and my litter of four under the house of her next door neighbor. She trapped, spayed, and released Momma but brought us kittens inside to socialize us. We fit in beautifully with her other pets, and now that we're ready to be adopted, she promises to find us all fantastic homes.

If you’re looking for a handsome, gentle, easy-going fella who gets along with other cats and small dogs, arrange to meet me! Consider adopting me with one of my sisters so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

HAS THE GIFT OF GAB

DOB 3/4/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Tornado, a sweet and playful brown tabby gal who, as you can see from my photo, likes to meow. Even though I have the gift of gab, I promise not to talk your arm off! Foster Meowmy voted me most likely to steal your food (and then your heart!). I get along with the resident dogs in my foster home better than any of the other foster cats, and of course, I get along with the other cats.

Foster Meowmy rescued my momma Blaze, my three siblings, and me from a garage when I was about three months old. I love to pounce and tumble, climb and wrestle with my siblings -- especially with my brother Bolt since we are very bonded. I'm thrilled when I hear Foster Meowmy’s joyful exclamations and laughter as she watches our roughhousing. As I overheard her tell a friend, “The entertainment value of Bolt and Tornado together is better than on their own.”

Now I’m ready to delight my forever family with my chatty conversations. I hope you don’t mind if I steal your food along with your heart. If you’re looking for a pair of kittens, please consider adopting Bolt and me together. Two is more fun than one, and we can entertain you when you’re home and be playmates as well as cuddle buddies when you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today!

CAN JUMP 3 FEET TO SNAG THE FEATHER WAND TOY

DOB 9/21/24

Hey there, everyone! Named after cautiously curious Velma Dinkley, the “brains” of the Mystery Group in Scooby Doo, I’m Velma, a gentle, quiet, shy, and cuddly brown tabby gal with a big heart and a chirping meow. I’m usually somewhat of a couch potato except when Foster Meowmy gets out the feather wand toy. That’s when I’m suddenly transformed into an energetic athlete, and you should see me jump up three feet in the air to snag it! I also can play a mean game of soccer with my jingle-bell ball. I do my share of chasing my sister Daphne until the roles reverse, and our tag game usually culminates in our napping together on the bed.

Foster Meowmy trapped my pregnant feral momma and brought her to the safe haven of Meowmy’s home, where Momma birthed my sister Daphne and me. Unfortunately Momma had ringworm, which she passed onto Velma and me, and it spread to all of the pets and hoomans in the whole house. Since it took months and months for everyone to get clear of the ringworm, Daphne and I got a late start getting ready to be adopted.

I’m considered a special-needs cat because I inherited a gum disease called stomatitis from my momma. Fortunately, it is not contagious, and Foster Meowmy treats it successfully by giving me a daily vitamin. The vet checks my gums twice a year for redness, and then I’m good to go.

Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Ideally, it will be quiet like I am, but I won’t mind if there is another cat or dog to join me in my playtime. Although we’re available separately, Daphne and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together as a legacy of Scooby Do’s Mystery Gang. That way we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! Let’s write a new chapter in our lives together!

THUMBED A RIDE TO NIRVANA FROM A GAS STATION

DOB 11/22/25

Hey there, everyone! I’m Venus, a super-sweet, snuggly, and playful black and white tuxedo gal, and it was no accident that I was named after the goddess of love and beauty! I adore lying on Foster Meowmy’s lap with my belly up, and I make sure that my purr motor is turned up to high volume.

When my sister Charm and I were about three months old, a Good Samaritan found us at a southeast Houston gas station. Thank heavens she rescued us as friendly but orphaned strays since our momma was nowhere in sight.

Now I’m ready to use my winsome personality to rule as the tiny goddess of love and beauty in my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Although we’re available separately, Charm and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. We could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Willow #your-fast-friend

You are here:

SUCH A SWEETHEART!!!

DOB 12/1/24

Hey there, everyone! I’m Willow, an outgoing, affectionate, and laidback brown tabby gal with giant green eyes who thrives on being with my hoomans. New people whom I meet are immediately my friend – no questions asked. I’m just winsome and amiable -- never needy or codependent. I’m perfectly content to just “hang out” on the desk if someone in my foster family is working on the computer. It suits me just fine if I can get on occasional chin scratch, but I never demand attention. I just don’t like being alone – so I specialize in being my hoomans’ most well-behaved furry companion. I overheard Foster Meowmy tell someone recently, “Willow is just a pleasure to be around.”

I was rescued as a pregnant teenage stray just in time to birth my six kittens in foster care. I’m barely more than a kitten myself, so I have plenty of spunk. You should see me when Foster Meowmy waves the feathered wand toy over my head! I was a very nurturing momma of the #tabby-brigade, but now that I’ve permanently retired from doting motherhood, I’m ready to bring my sweet, gentle charm and quiet camaraderie to grace my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU! By the way -- I’d be perfectly content if I were an only cat-child, but I’d also warm up to a resident cat or dog as long as we were properly introduced.
